If you want to go deep with your custom vehicle, like really deep, then it’s helpful to have some sort of theme to guide you. When it comes to this 2004 Chevy Tahoe, the inspiration is the Joker from the Batman franchise, and the end result is one extremely wild SUV. Riding on 30-inch rims and packed to the gills with audio equipment, this Chevy Tahoe asks one simple question – why so serious?
This Chevy Tahoe belongs to Atlanta resident Jay Jones, a.k.a. “Joka”, who transformed the SUV from stock to show-stopper in just a few years.
“I got this truck on my birthday probably four years ago,” the owner explains. “It was just a plain truck, it was like a dark blue, it had nothing on it. It was just clean.”
Now, this Chevy Tahoe is fully customized with a teal paint finish and Joker-themed graphics. Under the 30-inch wheels, the disc brakes are lined in lights, while digital LED headlamps are up front.
As crazy as the exterior looks, it’s the interior that really makes this SUV stand out. Highlights include infinity glass door cards packed with speakers, as well as a wealth of screens and lights in the dash, all following the Joker theme. As for the speakers, the SUV now has a wall of subwoofers behind the front seats, and another wall of speakers in the trunk. Add it all up, and this Chevy Tahoe has 62 speakers total.
The engine bay is also fully customized, showing off unique graphics, lights, and more Joker-themed touches.
“I’ve had a passion for cars mostly all my life because my dad did car shows when I was little and that’s what really made me want to be in the car scene as I got older,” Jones says. “I use this truck mainly to go and do the shows. This helps me deal with the death of my dad. My dad passed away three and a half years ago.”
“After I get my trophies, I ride in the truck by myself and play my music. I shed a tear because I feel like my dad’s watching me,” he says.

A waste.
Joker? Look more like a clown car for the circus.
I see I’m not the only one who thinks big wheels and no rubber looks like sh$t……
All the money is in the car, next time save for a house. Looks silly.
When people put more money into 30″+ wheels and speakers for a vehicle, than the vehicle is actually worth, I just shake my head in disbelief. I just hope that this person wasted his own money and not my tax dollars. To each their own.
At first I thought this was a picture of and story about the next size rims GM will be putting on their SUV’s. Guess I was wrong. haha. But unless they stop the silliness, we’re getting to that point.
