Only a few relatively small updates and changes have been made to the 2024 Chevy Equinox compared to the 2023 model year. The 2024 Equinox is the seventh and final model year of the nameplate’s third generation, with the 2025 Chevy Equinox expected to usher in the fourth generation -with images already leaked in China.
We recently looked at the 2024 Chevy Equinox interior colors, and today GM Authority is focusing on the complete list of all the wheels the crossover is offered with. In total, there are seven wheel options for the 2024 model, including (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):

MSRP for the LS trim starts at $27,995, while the LT trim is priced at $30,890, the RS at $32,345, and the Premium trim at a base price of $33,195. All of these prices include a $1,395 destination freight charge. The online configurator for the crossover is currently live.
Despite introducing only a few changes from the 2023 Equinox, the 2024 Chevy Equinox introduced a price increase compared to the foregoing model, with the RS trim costing $250 more than 2023 crossovers, and the LT trims priced $1,795 higher than similar 2023 model-year vehicles.
As a reminder, the 2024 Chevy Equinox utilizes the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine developing 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque for motivation. Under the body panels, the GM D2 platform provides the underpinnings.
Production of the 2024 Chevy Equinox takes place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant and GM San Luis Potosà plant, both of which are located in Mexico. Production started in May.

Now that you have the wheel options for the 2024 Equinox, how about prices for the new 2024 Equinox EV ? With RS package ?
Visit the Chevrolet website and go to the “Electric” pages. Prices will be posted next month.
I guarantee that GM will give the same treatment to the Equinox EV that they did to the Blazer EV. The “Starting At” prices will be higher than initially discussed and you will be very lucky to see a base trim EV on any dealer lot. My guess is that the EV ‘Nox will probably start in the low to mid $40k range. I highly doubt you will see any of them for around the $30k range that GM is promising considering their ICE models are in the mid to upper $30k’s and the RS trims are around $40k. GM promised low prices for the Blazer EV and then they eliminated the lowest trim so that they now start in the mid $50k range which is more than their top Premier or RS trims.
Also, to put the icing on the cake, now that GM is looking to add the battery plants to the UAW national agreement, this will only drive the costs of the EV’s to new heights or delay their development as money becomes tighter from the strikes dragging on.
I have a 2009 Equinox with 17 inch wheels. I prefer smaller wheels and taller sidewalls to get a smoother ride. Besides, the tires cost less. I don’t see any benefits with bigger wheel diameters.
Thanks, Tim for your insight and forecast regarding Equinox EV pricing. Remember, Mary Barra announced the new Bolt EV and EUV price reductions from the low $40K range to $26.6 and $28K base MSRP; a 40% price reduction , to be able to offer the Lowest Price EV’s in America. This yielded a net purchase price of well under $20K, after deducting the Federa; ITC of $7500 and state rebates of $2500–$5000, making the Bolts the Lowest price car in America. even lower than Toyota’s Corolla. In fact the net Bolt base price in Colorado is under $15K ! She also announced, at last years CES, that the Equinox EV would have a base MSRP of $30K, with the new Ultium battery ! ! Note that GM has extended the order window for both the Bolt and Bolts EUV several times, to Decamber 2023, as it has enjoyed continued strong sales, (even at a huge loss ?).
She has since indicated that GM will bring back the Bolt in 2024, to maintain the bragging rights of hacing the lowest (net) price of any car in America, including ICE powered vehicles The Equinox EV at $30K base MSRP, should continue the claim that GM has the lowest price car in America, (but most ‘Nox’ EV’s will be the high end premium models, starting with the RS2. The real question I have is when GM/Chevrolet will announse the new ‘Nox’ EV to their dealers ? I have been trying to order one for 6 months, and have yet to find any Chevy dealers in MA that even know that an Equinox EV is coming this fall, as promised ! I have written to Mary Barra and the Chevrolet President with no response. Still Hopefull !!!
Showing pictures of the Equinox with the wheels spinning, might not be the best photos for this story…
