Here Are All The 2024 Chevy Camaro Paint Colors

As GM wraps up production of the iconic sports car’s sixth generation, the 2024 Chevy Camaro arrives on the scene with a special 2024 Chevy Camaro Collector Edition and other commemorative variants. The 2024 Camaro started rolling off the assembly line on August 7th, 2023 and will get an abbreviated production run.

Along with various other changes and special end-of-run features, the 2024 Chevy Camaro drops a few exterior paint colors and gets even more, many of them as part of special production. Today, GM Authority is focusing on the available hues for the 2024 Camaro.

GM is dropping availability of two paint colors from the 2023 model year palette while adding four new hues to the lineup for the 2024 Chevy Camaro. The discontinued colors include Shadow Gray Metallic (paint code GJI) and Rapid Blue (paint code GMO), respectively added to the vehicle’s paint options in 2019 and 2022.

Four new paint hues are being added for 2024, including Nitro Yellow Metallic (paint code GCP) and Riptide Blue Metallic (GJV), plus Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat (GLK) and Panther Black Matte (GNW), the latter two offered exclusively on the Collector Edition.

As a result of this reworking of the paint color lineup, the 2024 Chevy Camaro offers 11 available exterior colors in all. Most of them, with the exception of the aforementioned Panther Black hues, are available across the full range of Camaro trim levels, including the 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, LT1, 1SS, 2SS, and ZL1 trims, as the following table shows:

The 2024 Chevy Camaro is motivated by three different powerplant options, including the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT1 gasoline engine, and the supercharged 6.2 L V8 LT4 gasoline engine.

However, the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LTG gasoline engine has been deleted for the 2024 model year, since it was exclusively equipped on the base 1LS coupe trim level, which is also not being offered for the 2024 model year.

  3. I remember back in September of 1995 wanted a 1996 Impala wagon. Last year of production. Dealer couldn’t find one anywhere that wasn’t already spoken for before they even arrived at Dealerships. Luckily there was one new 1995 on the lot. Had it for 16 years. Sorry I let it go. Upkeep was too much for daily driver, though.

  6. As a proud owner of a manual transmission 1LS with the rare Rapid Blue colour for the last 2 weeks, I cannot stress enough what a pleasure it is to drive. From the sporty visibility to the doors to the handling and RWD, it’s a car that is made for both cruising and speed. And this is just on the cheapest 2.0T 300lbs torque trim with a few minimal add-ons; I cannot imagine how fun it would be to own a full V8 SS or Zl1 with their transmission, engine, and suspension upgrades.

In the Challenger you have a traditional land-barge with impressive horsepower, in the Mustang a lifestyle girl-car, but the Camaro is the true sporty car that beats them all both in price and in driving. I think with better marketing and no covid supply chains this vehicle would have sold a lot better, but in any case its very rarity just makes one feel better for owning it.

  9. Owned 2 SS Camaros, 16 and 20, before owning a 22 ZL1 and this car is totally awesome and a car show winner. It has 7600 miles with no mechanical issues. Thank you GM for this experience.

  10. GM must have a ban on green Camaro colors. Been looking for a new green one for a good long while now. Guess it’ll never happen! What a letdown GM is! I’ll never forget the way you abandoned the Camaro, then canceled it! When the Camaro is done, so am I! And don’t think bringing it back as an electric piece of junk will make amends! Worst CEO ever!

  12. I currently have a 2016 Camaro 2LT my last after Owning 11 Total, Eleven Camaro & Firebirds in my past 73 Firebird esprit, 76 Formula, 78 Camaro LT, 79 Formula Firebird, 80 Trans Am Turbo, 90 Firebird, 94 Firebird, 95 Firebird, 2011 Camaro RS LT2, 2015 RS LT2 Convertible Camaro and my Final I still have a 2016 2LT V6 Camaro. After all the money I spent I can’t even drive my 2016 it’s been sitting since last May because the air conditioning doesn’t work hasn’t worked since I bought the car 6 years ago. GM flat out refuses to fix it and due to the hottest year on record my Camaro has been useless for the past 6 months… half the past year I will never get back… the estimated cost to repair the AC is in the 1000’s. Screw GM this problem with the AC has plagued hundreds if not Thousands of GM cars a class action suit is what we need to get GMs attention the CEO is a joke she should be forced to drive a Camaro in 100 degree weather with the windows rolled up for 6 months as a sentence for ripping off all the people who bought Camaros and other GM cars without fixing an issue that should have been recalled… GM has let me down for the last time maybe it’s a good thing they are out of the Camaro/Firebird business they can’t handle guaranteeing a car like Camaro my engine light has been on since I bought it as well… a total of $4000 was spent to fix it and the day after I got it back after it was left at the dealer for 3 months the engine light was back on.
There is no excuse for a CEO at GM to leave so many customers with expensive cars that can’t be used without almost dying from the extreme heat while driving their cars this past year. I will never buy GM again. GM Sucks! All 10 of my other Camaros and Firebirds I never had an issue with the AC all the more reason why they should have looked into these AC issues without dropping a huge bill on loyal customers. This customer can’t afford to fix this AC problem so I just get to marvel at the what if’s of my dream car sitting in my driveway unused for the past 6 months. This is no joke… everyday I walk past it and get into my roommates 2000 Honda insight with ice cold AC makes me furious. Be careful what you wish for the Camaro can be a real piece of sh*t if your unlucky enough to get a bad one.

  13. What a bait and switch job by GM on the “so called” 2024 Camaro. I have more factory installed options on my 2017 GMC 2500 and my 2018 GMC Acadia. I paid more for a remaining 2024 than I did for the GMC’s. I will bypass any future purchases for any new Chevrolet.
