About GMC Yukon

For the 2023 model year, GM introduces a new range-topping 2023 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate as “the most premium Yukon ever offered.” It features as standard Vader Chrome exterior trim, 22-inch wheels, full-grain leather upholstery, open-pore wood trim, premium audio equipment, and more, including GM’s Rear Seat Media System. The 2023 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL also receive expanded coverage of the GM Super Cruise hands-free, semi-autonomous driver assistance feature.

While the 2024 GMC Yukon was originally expected to introduce a mid-cycle enhancement, GM Authority has learned that the refresh will arrive for the 2025 model year. Even so, the 2024 Yukon drops the Redwood Metallic paint color, while the 2024 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate will offer two new wheel options as part of a variety of small changes, updates, and new features.

Here’s what we know and expect for the 2025 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. With a long list of upgrades and changes in store, among those will be a wealth of new infotainment features along with the hardware to back them. For example, the refreshed 2025 GMC Yukon will get 5G network connectivity.

The online configurator tool is live for the 2023 GMC Yukon. Production of the 2024 GMC Yukon will kick off in November.
