About Chevrolet Trax

Last October, GM debuted the next-generation 2024 Chevy Trax as the Bow Tie brand’s all-new entry-level crossover, incorporating Chevy’s latest ICE-based design language, taking after the Chevy Blazer crossover.

Inside, the new 2024 Chevy Trax is roomier than the preceding model, and offers more safety features and tech, including six advanced safety and driver awareness technologies via Chevy Safety Assist, and a standard eight-inch diagonal infotainment screen. LT, 2RS, and Activ trims get an 11-inch screen. Active Noise Cancelation and Adaptive Cruise Control are offered on most trims.

The 2024 Chevy Trax’s turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine develops 137 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 to 4,000 rpm. Additionally, the 2024 Trax boasts improved fuel economy over the previous-generation 2022 Chevy Trax.

Furthermore, the 2024 Chevy Trax offers a new Blackout Package and new roof rack cross rails.

  1. GM must think people in the Miami area are stupid.

“2024 Trax Activ or 2RS FWD
$625 per month for 48 months
Ultra low-mileage lease with 10,000 miles per year
$625 due at signing for current lessees of 2018 model year or newer vehicle (after all offers)
    $0 security deposit
Available in the Miami market area”

“For reference, here are the 2024 Chevy Trax trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including the $1,095 destination freight charge:

    LS – $21,495
    1RS – $23,195
    LT – $23,395
    2RS – $24,995
    Activ – $24,995”

    $625 a month X 48 months = $30,000 + $625 down = $30,625. 00.
And they would have to give the car back to GM! And pay a penalty if they put more than 40,000 miles on it.

    1. I laughed out loud when I saw that as well.

    2. What’s the point of this comment if you don’t know what the buyout of this vehicle would be at the end of the lease? In most cases the expected value of that lease-end vehicle is effectively in line with the MSRP minus the payments you made throughout the lease. My 2023 RST Silverado I just leased has a buyout of $37,000 at the end of the lease with the OTD cost being ~$54k when I accepted the lease contract. It’s a 3 year/ 36k mile lease.
