About Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 arrived as the fourth model year of the fourth-generation nameplate, introducing a few changes and updates over the refreshed 2022 Silverado. One such change is that 2023 Silverado Duramax models will be equipped with the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 engine turbodiesel “baby Duramax,” replacing the 3.0L I6 LM2.
The big news for 2023 is the introduction of the even more off-road capable, first-ever 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 Bison.
For 2024, the Chevy Silverado 2.7L engine is called TurboMax, though Chevy is now using the trademarked name when marketing the 2023 model. Also, the 2024 Silverado ZR2 offers the LZ0 Duramax diesel engine to provide more low-end torque while off-roading, joining the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine for available powerplants.
Also, the 2024 Silverado 1500 offers a new drop-in bedliner.
Pricing details for the 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 show that, compared to the previous model year, WT trims are now $500 more expensive, High Country trims are now $600 more expensive, and ZR2 and ZR2 Bison prices are down $1,600. The price drop for ZR2 and ZR2 Bison models is due to the fact that the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine is now fitted as standard, whereas the more-expensive naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine was the exclusive powertrain offered, which is now optional.
In August, the 2024 Silverado 1500 received a destination freight charge (DFC) increase of $100 to bump the total to $1,995.
The Chevy Silverado 1500 now offers ZR2 Spec Multimatic DSSV Shock System accessory for the 2019 model year or later Silverado 1500, with a design and tuning intended to provide the truck with improved off-road performance.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2023 Silverado and live for the 2024 Silverado.

So, if I read it correctly, to get any rebate, you have to get the 4-cylinder engine and to get more than $1350 it has to be in Miami. What’s up with the Miami truck market?
The only way I’d buy the 4-cyl would be as a 2-door short bed.
That is the only engine that comes in that model.
CAN’T GIVE AWAY THE “TURDHOLE” MAX TRUCKS. HAVE TO PAY YOU TO BUY ONE.
I BOUGHT A KEEP GLADIATOR. BYE GM!!!
Obviously can not sell those stupid 2.7 motors, real trucks have V8’s
Your article does not point out that the majority of these offers only apply to crew cabs but that it what it built, sold and desired by the majority of purchasers.
not me, I prefer a reg cab. But since those are just stripped down work trucks, I’ll settle for the double cab. Not everyone needs a 4 big door station wagon.
gm builds very few double cabs, They want the extra profit and higher transaction price that comes with the crew cab. Depending on your area/dealers you may have to order and pay MSRP and have a long wait to see it. I believe they are only assembled in Indiana.
