Over the course of Q3 2023, the Cadillac Lyriq saw a drastic rise in sales figures, jumping over 8,000 percent from Q3 2022 figures with 3,018 units sold. Now, during that same time period, the average transaction price (ATP) of the all-electric luxury crossover also rose a still-respectable 13 percent.
According to a report from Cox Automotive, the ATP of the Cadillac Lyriq during Q3 2023 rose 13 percent to $65,983. Of course, only Lyriq Debut Editions were being delivered back in Q3 2022, so the more higher-priced trims available today are driving the ATP north.
In regard to Cadillac ATPs across all nameplates, the luxury marque rose five percent to $74,224 over the course of Q3 2023, while sales increased six percent to 35,638 units over last year. Notably, this makes Cadillac’s gains the smallest of General Motors’ four U.S. brands.
Meanwhile, General Motors posted a 21 percent increase for a total of 669,199 vehicles sold during Q3 2023, while ATPs rose one percent to $52,117.
As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq introduces a few updates over its inaugural 2023 model year, including the entry-level Tech trim level and new power panoramic dual-panel sunroof. The former starts at $58,590 – including a destination freight charge of $1,395 – while the latter is tagged with RPO code CAJ and replaces the standard fixed glass roof (RPO code CFD), both of which include a power retractable sunshade.
As for powertrain specifications, the 2024 Lyriq RWD features a single motor mounted on the rear axle, producing 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq AWD is equipped with a pair of electric motors – one on each axle – that develop a combined 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Both models feature GM’s Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies.
In regard to range figures, the RWD variant boasts 314 miles on a full charge, while the AWD version features 307 miles from a full charge.
Under the body panels, the Lyriq rides on the GM BEV3 platform, while production takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
