In September 2023, the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan went on strike as the UAW continues negotiations with General Motors. As such, it would stand to reason that inventory levels of vehicles produced at this plant, including the Buick Enclave and the Chevy Traverse, would be subsequently lower than average. However, this currently isn’t the case.
According to a report from Cox Automotive, the Buick Enclave boasted a days supply figure of 141 days in September 2023. For reference, a 60 days supply is considered optimal across the automotive industry. However, Enclave inventory will likely decrease during the month of October as the plant has been on strike for three weeks and counting.
“Inventory levels remain relatively stable, and, with the exception of some GM models, Detroit automakers have ample inventory for now to keep them operating through the coming month,” Cox Automotive Senior Economist Charlie Chesbrough claimed in a prepared statement. “Some brands have inventory buildup, so production disruptions will take time to feed through the distribution network. However, the strike could start to have an impact in the coming weeks if it continues.”
As a reminder, the 2024 Buick Enclave is set to end production on December 13th, 2023 to make room for the refreshed 2025 Buick Enclave. Although details surrounding the mid-cycle refresh are mute at the moment, it’s expected that the exterior styling will incorporate elements from the Buick Wildcat EV concept, similarly to other new or revised Tri-Shield products.
Moving to the interior, the cabin will likely offer new designs, colors, and materials, along with an updated list of safety features and technologies. As GM Authority recently reported, the overhauled Enclave will benefit from a large curved panel housing the digital driver instrument cluster and the infotainment system touchscreen, in addition to offering GM’s Super Cruise.
Under the hood, we’re expecting the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, rated at roughly 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. The GM eight-speed automatic transmission would direct output to either the front wheels as standard, or all four wheels when properly equipped.
In regard to structure, the 2025 Enclave will continue to ride on the long-wheelbase variant of the GM C1 platform.

The 2025 Buick Enclave will be an all new Generation. The current generation Buick Enclave already received a mid cycle enhancement/facelift for the 2022 model year that has carried over to the subsequent 2023 and 2024 model years!
Good. I hope the UAW eats Dirt. I’m glad inventory levels are up. I don’t need the UAW making my future cars so much more expensive
Right with ya Dave!

They’re sitting on inventory because the interior is very outdated at this point, as they didn’t do anything to revise it during the minor refresh. Also, the front fascia from the same minor refresh is absolutely terrible. The new Buick “shark nose” headlights are awful, along with those sideburn fog lamps.
Put in zero effort and get zero results.
I woud buy a 24 enclave when gm dealers discount msrp 20% like the invoice they buy them for from manufacture and they woud still make moneyfrom gm kickbacks
