2025 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV Spied Rolling On 24-Inch Wheels

GM is expected to introduce the refreshed fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade for the 2025 model year, and that includes the high-performance Cadillac Escalade-V. Now, the upcoming 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV has been spotted out on the road as a camouflaged prototype, giving us an early look at the go-fast luxury SUV. This particular 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V is riding on a set of 24-inch wheels.

Refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV on the road testing as a prototype.

As we can see from these spy photos, this 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV prototype is covered in heavy vinyl camouflage up front, as well as body-hugging black-and-white camo on the side of the vehicle and the rear fascia. Those massive 24-inch wheels are covered up as well, hiding the new design underneath.

Under the camo, the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade (including high-performance Escalade-V models) is expected to present updated styling, both up front and in the rear, as well as new lighting arrangements at both ends. The Escalade-V should incorporate its own unique fascia treatment to give it the sharp styling required of the range-topping performance model. The rear end of the Escalade-V will incorporate a quartet of exhaust tips.

Those 24-inch wheels will also be new, as is the roof-mounted communications fin seen just above the driver’s seat. As was the case previously, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V will once again be available in the extended-wheelbase ESV body style, as pictured here.

Further updates will include a new cabin space, including a full-width, coast-to-coast infotainment screen. Notably, GM Authority has already spotted the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade interior, suggesting a direct copy-paste from the Cadillac Escalade IQ in terms of layout and design.

Under the hood, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V is expected to once again cradle the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at a maximum of 682 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 653 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm. Output will be directed through the GM 10-speed automatic transmission, reaching the ground through an active all-wheel drive system.

  1. Crazy, my dealer’s web site shows a 30K “market adjustment” for the V slades. That would bring them up to around 180-190. 2025 models could break 200 if demand holds.

    1. what demand? there is literally no demand for the escalade V. nor is there markup. what is available already built is sold at 155-165k which is right in line with msrp depending on packages. i just went to look before i posted this in case something had changed.

not sure what you dealer is on. literally.

      1. Really, because I watch my dealer’s inventory online and those V’s last about a week. And it and the CT5-V BW are the only two models with “market adjustment”. So my dealer is on green when it comes to those 2 models. They are showing discounts on almost all other inventory except those 2 above. The discounts are new in the past 2 months, and inventory has been building some which is probably the reason for the discounts. The two models I mentioned almost never have inventory except as “in-transit”. They move from “in-transit” to disappear.

        1. Is your dealer located in beverly hills or something? V series never has inventory! EVER. it has always been built to order (the escalade even more so as it is so niche its funny), What i did see nationwide last night actually for sale, has 0 markup.

Dont make me call cadillac dealers around to further confirm.. i already did that in person in 2022 when i was looking at them. It was tempting yes.

          1. They have 2 in stock. Don’t know why my previous comment is not showing. Covert in Austin.

            1. mine got delayed too. sometimes they get flagged for review. not sure why.

strange. texas doesnt strike me as much of a markup but then again… who knows. auto industry is weird now. i know is i can get one without a markup or effort (TN GA FL). which isn’t saying much at 150k+ msrp… maybe next year if i sell some property im listing soon and have nothing better to dump money on. wants vs needs, adulthood is complicated.

friend had a v wagon manual years ago, then bought his wife the sedan. so i got personal with the trim early on; racked over 3k miles on them while they had them. sadly they sold them for a tesla back when that was really expensive.

personally i have been looking at the ct6 v. it excites me but not enough to dump 70k on it which gets you mint one. so i sit on it. i just cant if my brain is still itching me towards an escalade. no way im doing 2 V vehicles.

          2. I also mentioned I bought my V-wagon off the lot in 11 from that dealer. Covert has almost always had V’s available when I’ve been. My sales guy was trying to get me to buy a CT5-V BW a few years ago. He even pulled it out and fired it up to tempt me. I kept my wagon. There is something about it that I don’t want to let go of it.

            1. 11 v wagon? hah thats the one the friend had i was talking about above. his was a 2012 in crystal red. an excellent choice. yes keep it!

wagon is rarer that anything. ofc they want you to swap for a “common” sedan. imagine the markup they can put on the wagon these days

    2. Especially when you add in the 24″ Wheels, I was done trying to impress people with Over The Top Vehicles just 4 years ago, made me truly appreciate just how much less money I was throwing out on a monthly basis.

  3. What’s next? 36-inch wheels to match the 36″ infotainment screen? Oh, sorry, it’s a 72″ IT screen. Laughable and PRICEY.

  4. The last thing you want is those short sidewalls dropping into the many good-sized potholes we have up here in the Northeast.

  5. Those tires are going to be super expensive to replace. I still have 16’s on my car. So affordable.

  6. The regular length v is a completely unnecessary vehicle, now they do this. What purpose does this vehicle serve? None. The world doesn’t need a vehicle like this. GM won’t be around much longer making stupid waste of money moves like this.
