2025 Buick Enclave Interior: Our Exclusive Details

The 2025 Buick Enclave is just over the horizon, set to drop an all-new third generation for the full-size, seven-seater CUV. GM Authority has already captured the next-gen Buick Enclave testing as a camouflaged prototype, providing an early look at the updated styling. Now, we’re here to report a wealth of exclusive details regarding the overhauled 2025 Buick Enclave interior.

The current 2024 Buick Enclave interior.

Current 2024 Buick Enclave interior

First and foremost, the 2025 Buick Enclave will offer several new tech features, including Super Cruise, GM’s semi-autonomous driver assist system. In addition, the cabin will have some new controls, with a digital stalk-like shifter mounted on the steering column, a layout that will be somewhat similar to what’s on offer from the Cadillac Lyriq.

Speaking of layout, the interior of the 2025 Buick Enclave will be dominated by a curved display that will span the instrument panel and center stack. Although the Cadillac Lyriq also has a curved display that doubles as the instrument panel and center stack, the new infotainment setup in the 2025 Buick Enclave will differ from the Lyriq in terms of look, and will most likely draw similarities to the Buick Envista, Buick Encore GX, and 2024 Buick Envision.

Further control updates will be made to the center stack, where piano-style up-down controls will be used for the HVAC system, similar to the refreshed Chevy Bolt EV and Bolt EUV, as well as the 2024 Chevy Traverse. Additionally, the steering wheel will be all-new, and will incorporate a Super Cruise top strip and a new overall design.

Finally, the interior of the 2025 Buick Enclave will offer considerably more storage for things like water bottles and drink cups, plus a wireless phone charger, and more storage in the center console thanks to the relocation of the shifter to the steering column.

Under the hood, the 2025 Buick Enclave is expected to cradle the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, with output reaching the front wheels as standard, and all four wheels as optional. Expect the 2025 Buick Enclave to debut next year.

  2. Larger version of the same front end that we see on other Buicks and that many don’t care for. They need to fix the rear visibility issue. 2 of my friend’s wives have recently ditched one for that very reason. You can’t see diddly out the back, camera aside. Especially when the 3rd row is in use.

    1. Rear view camera / mirror (mirror / camera?) solves that issue. Avenir has it standard. Should be standard on all trim levels. Rear view mirrors are pretty much useless in any three row SUV

  3. Just put a picture of the Chinese lacrosse interior and the wildcats, that’ll be pretty much it. I’m sure that the center will have a screen as well

  4. I have a 2024 Enclave and if the only engine is a 4 cylinder turbo I have a big Problem. That car is too big for that engine. Again my Granddaughter has a Encore GX with a 4 cylinder turbo and it doesn’t get near the gas mileage my Enclave does. This not my first comment on this matter. If the people at Buick keep making these Bad Decisions, Buick is in Serious Trouble. I read all the other comments and from what I see I’m not alone.

    1. Unless they changed it, the Encore GX has a 3-cylinder engine.

    2. So every manufacture is making bad decision then. Toyota is doing it with the Highlander and even with the hybrid they are not getting close to what the sticker says. Friend has a new Honda CRV Hybrid not getting the mpg either. Its not about mileage its about emmissions. The 4 cylinders are getting better emissions with the 4 cylinder getting worse mileage than v6. The new 4 is more power full in everyway.

Many here say a 4 cylinder shouldn’t be a luxury car….well guess what BMW, Lexus, Infiniti, Mercedes are all doing and they are selling. Its going to change where all your going to have is mostly 4 cylinder turbo’s and v8’s. Yes there will be a few outliers with v6’s but 4 cylinder turbos are going to be taking the place of many of them.

I have 2.0t Terrain and it tows awesome so this new 2.5 turbo in these bigger CUV’s will fine for people.

      1. That’s what many don’t understand is that emissions and fuel economy aren’t exclusively related. These new turbo 4 engines reduce emissions but aren’t much better in fuel consumption and that’s what matters to the feds. Toyotas new 2.4t has a 30% reduction in emissions vs the 3.5 V6 but offers minimal real world improvements in fuel savings . I’m sure there’s some similar numbers here with the new 2.5t from GM and their outgoing V6.

    3. Encore GX engine is a 3 cylinder, not 4. And you need to look at the output in HP and torque. A four cylinder turbo powers many of GM’s full size pickups so I would expect output to be at least as good as the current V6 with better fuel economy.

    4. Bad decisions? Big problem? What in the world are you talking about? The 2.7 in the midsize twins (same engine this 2.5 is based on) is getting better mpg reported by most owners. The engine is way more powerful overall as it has a ton more torque. This engine will be more a pleasure to drive as city driving will be down at nice low revs pulling effortlessly and when a hill is come to is doesn’t have to down shift a few gears to rev to make power to keep speed (like what currently happens with the 3.6). This engine is a big improvement. Chery picking a few comments from old uniformed people saying they hate it or had X experience 30 years ago with a turbo motor doesn’t mean anything. It will review well and was designed for these heavy vehicles. Bigger vehicles want torque, something the 3.6 lacks, this will be a welcomed change shared by most (as long as they open their eyes and don’t fall back to uniformed 30+ year old dated info).

    5. Those small turbo 3 & 4 cylinder engines are crap. There is no substitute for cylinders and displacement. Those tiny engines build up too high of pressures and end up eating themselves up

    6. I am not going to spend 50,000 dollars plus for a somewhat being mentioned as a luxury
SUV and Hear the engine making a stressed out roaring sound trying to produce enough Horsepower….
Totally agree all manufactures going this route for the near future , but keep in mind
Most people that know anything won’t be buying vehicles with these small engines
The car companies will realize this and change again just like they are doing about
NO electric car sales ! I guess, I will be buying used vehicles that have already depreciated
With the type of equipment I need and want Starting sooner than expected and just wait it out till the smoke settles and they see that the small engines will not hold up in time.

      1. Are you stuck in the 1999? I daily drive 2018 Cadillac CT6 with 2.0 turbo and it has been the best experience of my life. GM turbo ECOTEC actually beats 3.5 NA engine from my previous 2013 Acura RDX. It is smooth, it is extremely powerful, and as someone else had mentioned – you cruise in the city in low RPM enjoying virtually no noise. I averaged 43 MPG driving on country roads from Tampa to Ocala. My car feels super luxurious, the turbo is making it more luxury with less RPM. You people just have no clue.

    7. Greg, you are uninformed. Encore GX has a cheaper 3-cylinder turbo engine and yes, it is not very efficient. I have an older, but better 2.0t LTG in my 2018 CT6, it is the best engine I ever had in my life. 92k miles on it, it drives like new. No oil burn, no overheating, just smooth luxury experience. If I had a choice between 2.0 turbo and 3.6 NA, I would pick the new ECOTEC turbo any time.

  5. Call me a boomer all you want (I’m actually Gen X, but whatever), but I am not a fan of all these big vehicles going with four-cylinders. There is no way they are better.

    1. Stopgap until they all go electric

    2. You aren’t wrong as all our friends with large vehicles and the smaller engines have all had issues. Turbos since they’re usually undersized and all the emissions crap all fail regularly. It’s kinda funny seeing all the problems caused by such things to apparently lower emissions and be more environment friendly are likely causing the opposite since they need more repair requiring more resources spent. The main problem is reliability when you already need that and generally, 100k miles or more of virtually no repairs just to equalize the resources spent (electric especially) just seems silly atm. I’ve been buying enclaves since 2015 every 3 years. I can’t see paying upwards of 60k for such a fat pig with an anemic motor. We do some light towing as well. The new design and emblem look so sterile and bereft of any soul or character.

  6. Say goodbye to the comfortable 3.6 V6 in favor of the extremely pressurized turbo engines that need to be reinforced internally, run hot, burn oil, and are always under stress and probably need premium gas and don’t get the gas mileage promised!

    1. Tell us you are uninformed without actually telling us. First, the engine is built to run on regular unleaded. Second, it will be much more comfortable because to make any power or go up a hill it doesn’t have to down shift a few gears and rev, it can ride a luscious wave or way more torque down low. It will accelerate better in town and the lower revs help it get better mpg. The GM units have been doing better on mpg than advertised. Check out the Colorado/Canyon, owners are reporting better mpg than advertised.

Next time, make a comment when you actually have some knowledge on the subject…

      1. As someone who owns a GM car with 2.0 LTG, I approve your message. It is an amazing engine, it does cruise in low RPM so quiet and extremely powerful when you step on it. It almost never has to revv high, since new twin-scroll turbo and new transmission makes it extremely responsive. These old people just have no idea. I have 92k miles on my car and not a single issue, I plan to keep driving it for a few more years.

          1. I have Cadillac CT6 with LTG turbo. You can drive a variety of GM cars and SUVs with LTG/LSY turbo engines, they are just fine. Why would Enclave not handle the turbo when they have been selling Silverado with a similar turbo engine for years?

  8. @ Beachy29579: Many don’t care for the new styling? Who’s “many”?
The restyled Encore GX and especially the new Envista have received a lot of positive reviews in the automotive media in part for their styling.
The GX saw a 104.17% increase in sales for the 3rd Quarter of this year.

  9. We finally get to see the last of the midsize ICE crossovers. Unlike the Traverse and Acadia, the Enclave will be pure luxury with no serious off-road prowess. Now lets see the official photos of the new ICE Equinox and Terrain in addition to a new 2025 Malibu. Finally the XT6 needs a similar refresh to the XT4 with the new 2.5 liter engine! 2025 should be big year for GM vehicles!
