The 2024 Corvette stands out from the previous model year thanks to the debut of the Corvette E-Ray along with several other updates and changes. The latest Vette has also seen a series of price increases, including a $2,100 price hike for all variants and a $2,000 price boost to its carbon fiber wheel options.
Now, GM Authority has learned that the list of full-length dual racing stripes for the 2024 Corvette has also gotten a price hike, effective October 2nd.
Specifically, GM is raising the price of all full-length dual racing stripes by $200 from $995 to $1,195. The lineup of stripes affected by this price change appears below (with RPO codes in parenthesis):
- Carbon Flash dual racing stripes with Blue accent (new for 2024) (DPB)
- Carbon Flash dual racing stripes with Yellow accent (new for 2024) (DPC)
- Carbon Flash dual racing stripes with Orange accent (new for 2024) (DPG)
- Carbon Flash dual racing stripes with Red accent (new for 2024) (DPL)
- Carbon Flash dual racing stripes with Silver accent (new for 2024) (DPT)
- Orange dual racing stripes (DSY)
- Red dual racing stripes (DSZ)
- Yellow dual racing stripes (DT0)
- Electric Blue dual racing stripes (DTB)
- Carbon Flash Metallic dual racing stripes (DTH)
- Sterling Silver dual racing stripes (DUB)
- Blue dual racing stripes (DUW)
- Electric Blue dual racing stripes (new for 2024 and exclusive to E-Ray) (DTB)
All of the stripes are optionally available on the 2024 Corvette Stingray, 2024 Corvette Z06, and 2024 Corvette E-Ray at the same price. The 2024 model year gets six new colors of stripes, bringing the total currently available number to 13. Meanwhile, the seven carryover full-length dual racing stripes are now wider for the 2024 Vette.
As a reminder, a unique powertrain setup is equipped in each of the three 2024 Corvette variants. The 2024 Stingray cradles the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine developing 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque.
The 2024 Corvette Z06 is motivated by the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine providing an output of 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The new, hybrid, AWD 2024 E-Ray pairs the Stingray’s LT2 engine with a front-axle electric motor, giving a total output of 655 horsepower.
The GM Y2 platform supports all Chevy C8 Corvette models under the body panels. Production of the Bow Tie sports car continues to take place exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

All the price hikes fine if they would just build the damn things. Let’s get another shift at bowling green or turn up the conveyor speed. I’m not going to wait forever.
