The 2024 Chevy Tahoe introduces the fifth-generation full-size SUV nameplate’s fourth model year, with almost no changes from the 2023 model except for the deletion of Auburn Metallic from the lineup of available exterior paints. Now, GM Authority has uncovered the pricing breakdown of all 2024 Tahoe variants.
For the new model year, MSRP increases by $2,000 across all trim levels compared to the 2023 model. Additionally, the destination freight charge has been hiked by $100 from $1,895 to $1,995. Taken together, this means an overall $2,100 price rise for all 2024 Chevy Tahoe trims compared to the outgoing model year.

The most affordable 2024 Chevy Tahoe is the LS 2WD with motivation supplied by the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, featuring a starting MSRP of $58,195. Meanwhile, the priciest 2024 Tahoe is a 4WD High Country trim equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, priced at $81,395.
Following the introduction of the Tahoe’s fifth generation with the 2021 Chevy Tahoe, it was originally believed the 2024 model year would debut the mid-cycle refresh. However, it recently emerged the refresh wasn’t scheduled for the 2024 model, but for 2025 Chevy Tahoe instead. GM Authority expects the eagerly anticipated refresh will include an overhaul of both the SUV’s exterior and cabin.
Exterior changes are likely to include a new front fascia with a two-tiered lighting setup in keeping with the signature Chevrolet “high brow” treatment, fresh styling overall, and reworked rear fascia and taillamps. Additional probable changes include addition of a new roof-mounted communications antenna fin and new 24-inch wheel options.
The 2024 Chevy Tahoe’s successor will also get an overhauled cockpit, centered on a new, expanded infotainment screen and revised center stack. While the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine and naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine are likely to remain in the powerplant lineup, the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine is expected to be ousted by the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax.
Under the body panels, the 2024 Chevy Tahoe uses the GM T1 platform for structure, while production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

its actually a 4k hike. current msrp is 54xxx and it goes to 58xxx on the base (which you cannot get).
i hope for 2025 they make it 65xxx and dealers only order high country trims financed at 25% apr. lovely.
mary bara needs a 50mil check. gotta pay for it somehow. vehicles are the new crypto. argue against that…
Are you just here to critize everything on here. Seems you can even use a name. Maybe you are a UAW ratt because you seem to be one.
Prices are going up everywhere. Thanks to dementia boy in the white house and his cronies.
this started long before UAW. but you can blame anybody. and are you here just to cry over who won the last election? Seems you can also use a name..
I have Tahoe on order but couldnt get my order picked up as a 2023 by GM. Now it rolls into a 2024 and get the same exact suv for $2100 more. YES, Prices are going up everywhere but its interesting to note that Toyota increased the Sequoia by only $1K not $2K and kept the same delivery charge. Are they that much more advanced in component purchasing than GM or is it simply different profit requirement?
New Lexus GX 550 is starting to look like a bargain compared to the Tahoe.
Just got an allocation last week for a 2024 RST and my dealer submitted the order. Dealership was unable to quote a price until two days ago but was able to take and successfully submit the order? In retrospect maybe I should have went for a 2023 when I had the chance last month. Same vehicle, cheaper, and who knows when I’ll see the 24
These still sell briskly and dominate the segment with no sales incentives at already high prices. I’m not surprised GM is raising the MSRP…
GM increased the Tahoe by $2K plus another $100 for delivery…and Toyota increased the Sequoia by $1K. I wonder how much each package and option line item went up by in addition to the base $2K? So is it $2100 base increase plus another $xxx on options?
Good question (as it does seem in the past model years there have been increases in some of the options). Also, I wonder what the 2024 GMC Yukon pricing will be (assuming it will probably be the same as the 2024 Tahoe).
