The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ made its formal introduction last month, dropping in as the first-ever all-electric production SUV to wear the legendary Cadillac Escalade nameplate. With a wealth of high-end features and the latest GM Ultium powertrain technology, plus 750 horsepower, the Escalade IQ is quite the vehicle. Now, we’re getting ahead of the game with this exclusive Cadillac Escalade-V IQ rendering.
While GM hasn’t announced any plans for an eventual Cadillac Escalade-V IQ, we can expect such a high-performance, all-electric SUV to be equipped with a three-motor GM Ultium powertrain similar to that of the GMC Hummer EV SUV and Hummer EV Pickup. Combined with a 24-module battery pack, output should eclipse that of the standard Escalade IQ, which is rated at 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque with the Velocity mode activated. As a reminder, the GMC Hummer EV doles out upwards of 830 horsepower to 1,000 horsepower, depending on the configuration.
With a little extra electron-powered muscle under the hood, the Cadillac Escalade-V IQ would have what it takes to best the standard Escalade IQ when it comes to straight-line acceleration. For reference, the regular IQ is said to sprint to 60 mph in less than five seconds. Range-per-charge for the standard model is set at 450 miles.
That’s impressive stuff, and the Cadillac Escalade-V IQ could advertise its performance capabilities with a more-aggressive exterior. Highlights would likely include larger wheels wrapped in high-performance EV tires, as well as a lower stance and beefier brakes. The body would also likely sport some new body pieces, with our rendering decked out with a new front lip and diffuser-esque rear bumper treatment. Don’t forget the requisite V-Series badging on the doors.

Looks like a wagon.
Every SUV out looks like a wagon.
That’s because all SUV’s are wagons. They’re all just tall wagons.
