Here’s When Dealers Can Start Ordering The 2024 Buick Envision

The 2024 Buick Envision drops in as the second-generation crossover’s fourth model year, introducing a mid-cycle enhancement (also known as a refresh) consisting off updates to the exterior and interior. Production of the 2024 Buick Envision is set to kick off later in the year. Now, GM Authority has uncovered when dealers can begin placing orders for the 2024 Buick Envision.

The 2024 Buick Envision will soon be available to order. Shown here is the updated Buick Tri-Shield logo.

According to GM Authority sources, Buick dealers will be able to start submitting 2024 Buick Envision orders during the week of September 28th, 2023.

General Motors unveiled the first official images of the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision in June of 2023. The new exterior styling takes its cues from the Buick Wildcat EV that debuted in 2022, incorporating slim upper lighting elements that run along the hood line into the fenders, as well as squarish lighting elements lower in the fascia placed on either side of the rectangular grille. The hood includes Buick’s latest Tri-Shield badge design front and center. The new badge design made its introduction last year in conjunction with the debut of the Buick Wildcat EV concept vehicle.

Moving into the cabin, the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision incorporates a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and fully digital display, the latter of which is mounted horizontally and stretches across the dash. In addition to a redesigned exterior and overhauled interior, the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision also offers GM Super Cruise, making it the first Buick model sold in North America to offer the semi-autonomous driver assist system. GM Super Cruise is available to activate on over 400,000 miles of roads throughout the U.S. and Canada.

As for the powertrain, the 2024 Buick Envision cradles the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, with output rated at 228 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm.

The start of regular production (SORP) for the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision will kick off on December 11th, 2023.

    2. Yes, J.D. Powers said it rated number one in its class for initial quality, so yes, China does made good products. (I guess that’s why I have an iPhone).

      1. I disagree Tigger. We traded in our Cadillac XT4 for a 2021 Envision (22,888 miles, so far) and we love it. Please speak to a vehicle you have owned, not here say.

          1. You’re going to tell me if you liked a product, but edmonds.com said it was bad, you wouldn’t buy it? You need to think for yourself in the future. You could be missing out on some great times.

  7. I drive Buicks because it used to mean something ,it stood for American design and industrialism, not quite a Cadi but When Electras we’re driving on our highways them seemed like they belonged and looked good doing it.I always wanted that feeling and have experienced it.My 2008 Enclave (current ly)held on to that. But driving Chinese , Korean, foreign cars as we used to call them is here to stay.I don’t think my next car crossover is gonna be a Buick.I will try to find a True American Brand that I can place an American flag on and proudly drive on our highways.Gonna be Hard.

    1. After owning the 21 Envision it’s a great car. Very smooth on the highway. The previous Envision didn’t sell so they had to save money by making it in China. China loves Buick though so it’s built fine

  8. Made in China.

    1. Add freaking side mirror turn signals! How the heck do you forget to transfer that over from the previous gen!? It’s a safety feature also!

  10. Made in China or not IDC. They’re made over there now because people didn’t buy the previous gen which was ugly as sin. Also LEAVE THE CURRENT DESIGN ALONE GM! The 21-23 is the reason we bought our Avenir! It’s a nice crossover. Wish they would’ve made it as big as a Nissan Rogue though. The long hood makes it look like it’s supposed to be larger than it really is.

  14. JD Power rated the 2023 Envision first for initial quality compared to other small SUVs. Hope the 2024 is just as good. I guess being made in China, like iPhone, might have something to do with high quality, though the Buicks made in Korea are high quality too. Love the styling as well.
