General Motors has just expanded Chevy‘s online sales lineup in South Korea with the aim of increasing convenience and accessibility for customers in the Asian country.

The automaker added the Chevy Colorado and Chevy Traverse to the Bow Tie brand’s online sales portfolio in South Korea, expanding its offering of vehicles that can be purchased through digital platforms in that country, where GM pioneered and has led online sales within the automotive industry. Both join the Chevy Bolt EUV, Chevy Tahoe and GMC Sierra, increasing the number of GM Korea models that can be purchased online to five.

“Our customers are at the center of everything we do. The expansion of the online sales lineup exemplifies GM’s commitment to offer the best service to our customers,” said GM’s Korean Operations Vehicle Sales and Service Vice President, Gustavo Colossi. “It is enhancing the availability of our products for those in regions where there is no showroom and those who have difficulty visiting a showroom,” he added.

As of September 1st, the company expanded its online sales lineup with the outgoing-generation Chevy Colorado and Chevy Traverse that are now available both in the official Chevrolet dealer network and on digital platforms, where customers can make their purchases without visiting a showroom. The entire process can be completed through online stores, from financing to delivery.

GM introduced the online sales model to the South Korean auto industry for the first time in May 2021, when it launched the Chevy Camaro SS in Korea. Since then, the company subsidiary has continued to innovate by making the Chevy Bolt EUV exclusively available through online sales in that country and progressively expanding the lineup. In particular, all the models that the company offers online in South Korea are imported.

Interested customers can now purchase the Chevy Colorado and Chevy Traverse through the Chevrolet Korea Online Store, improving convenience and accessibility by expanding the reach of vehicles beyond Chevy showroom cities across the country from. Both models come to the South Korean market imported from the United States and have been the pioneers within their respective categories in South Korea.
