With its wide, low-slung stance and sharklike styling lines, the C8 Corvette Stingray is a looker, to be sure. However, all those delicious performance cues can be enhanced even further by dipping into the aftermarket. Now, we’re getting a taste of exactly that with the following short video from Ferrada Wheels.
Clocking in at a little under one-and-a-half minutes, the video shows a 2020 C8 Corvette Stingray riding on a set of Ferrada CM Series CM2 wheels, with the 10-spoke layout finished in Machine Silver. The wheels featured here are sized at 20 inches by 9 inches in front and 20 inches by 12 inches in the rear. However, Ferrada offers a variety of different sizes, offsets, and colors to choose from.
Set against the bright red paint that covers the body panels of this C8 Corvette, the silver finish on the wheels really pops. Under the wheels, we see a bright-red finish for the brake calipers, which complements the paint. Meanwhile, the body lines are enhanced even further by some sharp aero components, including a front splitter, side skirts, and a large rear wing. The side air intake trim is also painted to match the rest of the body.
This video shows this tasty C8 Corvette Stingray parked near an airport, where we see a few airplanes taking off and landing while the sun above reflects off the polished body panels of the mid-engine Chevy. We later see the C8 Corvette out on the street, where it rolls down the highway and along surface roads.

As a reminder, the C8 Corvette Stingray cradles the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine as standard, with output rated at a maximum of 490 horsepower at 6,450 rpm and 465 pound-feet of torque at 5,150 rpm. All of that go is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission co-developed with Tremec. Under the sultry body panels, the C8 Corvette rides on the GM Y2 platform. Production takes place exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

I say “to each their own” . I personally don’t care for this style but that’s not to say you shouldn’t either. The choice is your decision so be happy with what you choose! Tomg
Whatever happened to simple, strong wheels that are easy to wash by hand.. Have you ever tried to get your finger or a wash mitt / cloth into those tiny little nooks and crannies that today’s wheels designers think they have to have??
AND the complicated looking wheels are also UGLY….
