2024 Chevy Blazer EV Configurator Live

General Motors unveiled the all-new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV last year, ushering in the first battery-powered production crossover to wear the Chevy Blazer nameplate. Production of the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV is already under way at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico. Now, however, interested individuals can spec the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV using the official online configurator at Chevrolet’s website.

At present, there are two 2024 Chevy Blazer EV trim levels listed on the configurator, including the 2LT and the RS. Both are equipped with all-wheel drive, with an EPA-estimated 279 miles of range per charge. A total of eight exterior colors are listed, including:

  • Red Hot
  • Summit White
  • Black
  • Riptide Blue Metallic
  • Galaxy Gray Metallic
  • Sterling Gray Metallic
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat
  • Iridescent Pearl Tricoat

Six of the eight paint options are offered at no extra cost, while Radiant Red Tintcoat and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat are $495 and $995, respectively.

With regard to the interior, the 2LT trim is only available with Black Evotex upholstery, while the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV also offers Black / Adrenaline Red, Perforated sueded / Evotex upholstery. The 2LT also offers the Comfort And Convenience Package (AutoSense power liftgate, wireless phone charging, heated seats) and the Convenience And Driver Confidence Package (Adaptive Cruise Control, HD Surround Vision, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking), while the RS offers the RS Convenience And Driver Confidence Package (Head-Up Display, HD Surround Vision, Heated wiper park).

Both models feature an 85 kWh GM Ultium battery pack, which sends electrons to a pair of GM Ultium Drive motors to create an all-wheel drivetrain. Under the skin, all 2024 Chevy Blazer EV variants ride on the GM BEV3 platform.

  1. Ah c’mon people, just go by the pictures! You can SEE and DRIVE the actual car
AFTER you get it! Think of it as a $60,000 adventure into the abyss! Don’t worry, you don’t have to accept it when it comes in. Just order another after the price drop!

  2. Blazer EV pricing is a bit of a joke…. Friend with growing family WAS going to purchase a 1LT, but 2LT and above are much too expensive now that 1LT is discontinued…. Checked in Buffalo, NY area – LYRIQ TECH with 102 kwh battery is $58,600.
Blazer RS (only thing available here) has only an 85 kwh battery but is $1,600 more expensive than the very nice Caddy.

Finally had a dead as a door nail 12 volt battery in my 2023 Luxury Trimmed Cadillac LYRIQ, which maybe the service department at my dealership will think about servicing tomorrow. Parking brake and parking pawl engaged so tow truck driver had to drag it along the concrete – not particularly happy about that ! More dragging to get it off the flat bed – YUCH!!!

Too many points of failures with these cars… Left my garage door opener in the car since I haven’t been able to open any door since this happened… I’ll try going in through the hatch to recover the opener on the visor, since I’m picking up a loaner from the dealership this afternoon… XT5 gas thingy.

Configurator Buggy – won’t allow you to delete ‘suggested’ option packages.

    1. If the 12V died it’s a hung module. If you can’t disengage the parking brake, disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal and charge the battery for at least 20 minutes and plug it back in. If the battery is still connected to the car there is too much draw for a jump start to work.

      1. meh :

Please explain how i get to the battery to disconnect it? I’ll let the dealership go through the motions since there is a fuse box on top of the battery to be able to access things, and they could say I “Modified” the vehicle. Seeing as I don’t want to have to defend my actions, and am getting a nice LOANER (XT5) , I’ll let them go through the motions and hopefully the repair dude wont rip the seats up climbing over them. To me, it appears the battery is destroyed (Sulfated) and I’ll need a new one under warranty.

My big accomplishment this afternoon will be trying to recover the garage door opener remote going through the hatch at the dealership. That’s enough work.

        1. The fusebox on top of the battery is connected to the positive. The negative terminal is easily accessible and removeable. They expect owners to access the battery for replacement and or charging. There is instructions in the Owners Manual for connecting a Battery tender if storing the vehicle for some time.

This has been a common point of discussion over on Lyriq forums. We know how to charge the battery in case of a locked module that is causing too much draw.

        2. Should be mechanical key in the fob which fits in a slot in the liftgate

          1. Yup – they left the car out in the open so the two things I recovered were actually pretty easy to do.

GM lately is picking up all of Tesla’s bad ideas. But as it is Tesla has the most successful fast chargers.

As far as using a battery tender to charge the battery,- forget it. The battery isn’t holding a charge and will need to be replaced.

    2. Technically… the 1LT was never discontinued… since it never existed yet. Lol

  4. 60k for less than 300mil of range ??? So if you plan going at least 100mil back fourth around CA for instance better pre pre plan for ev stops … Or buy ice spend 10-15k less on at least 300 miles of range with plenty gas stations … how is this smart choice for anyone? this is not it .

    1. It’s the smart choice for people who like to see civilization and tech advance. Humans naturally resist change. If everyone had the same thought process as you there would be no demand for new technologies. Without buyers for current ev’s there is no money to advance the ev technology. Once the demand is there the infrastructure to support them will follow. Do you think there were gas stations every 15 miles when the first ICE cars came out? Of course not.
People resisted ICE cars the same way people are resisting EV’s now. My horse and buggy works fine, why would I want to buy gas? The first ICE cars were only considered affordable to the wealthy as well. Like it or not EV’s are the future.

  6. While I’m not an EV fan, it would actually be interesting to see Chevrolet do alot with this vehicle as far as performance. It’s already a far better choice than the Mach E will ever be, but seeing that this thing kind of resembles a Camaro in certain ways and has an SS badge, it’d be cool to see this car receive a 1LE package along with a multi-speed transmission or even an E-CVT transmission along with some Camaro inspired styling packages like a ZL1 style hood, different wheel options, Magnaride suspension, a more aggressive spoiler option, Recaro seating, leather/alcantara steering wheel, retro color options, graphics and some kind of sound and even different power levels. I know most people are against EVs, EV tuning and everything that has to do with electrification but if the world is moving towards electrification at least make it fun and desirable to an extent. As far as American EVs go, GM has the best looking ones hands down at this point. Hopefully Mopar will figure it out but right now it’s not looking too good for my favorite brand. I despise Ford so GM is pretty much it for me if Mopar doesn’t figure it out and soon.

  7. The 2LT also has the dual pane powered sunroof included in the package. The RS does not offer the sunroof option.
