The 2024 Cadillac CT5-V once again offers a sportier take on the luxury four-door nameplate, offering up a few notable updates over the preceding 2023 model year. One of these updates is the introduction of the new Red Accent Package, which enhances the exterior of the sedan with a selection of unique bits and pieces. Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at this package in the following Feature Spotlight.
Tagged with RPO code PDK, the new Red Accent Package for the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V is available as an LPO-level option, which means it’s installed when the vehicle is delivered to the dealer, as opposed to when the vehicle is initially produced at the factory. The package is seen here on an example of the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V finished in Argent Silver paint.
The Red Accent Package for the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- 20-inch Low Gloss Black alloy wheels with Red accents (SKX)
- Red wheel center cap (5ZE)
- Decals (SB9)
- Black wheel lug nuts (SPY)
- Black wheel locks (SPZ)
Pricing for the Red Accent Package is set at $3,395.
Initially breaking cover for the 2020 model year, the Cadillac CT5-V offers a sportier take on the CT5 lineup, with a combination of luxury and a more engaging driving experience. However, the Cadillac CT5-V still slots in below the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing with regard to peak performance capability.
Under the hood, the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V once again equips the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine, which is rated at a maximum of 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. The GM Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic transmission is onboard for cog swaps, while output reaches the pavement via either the rear wheels, or all four wheels.
Under the body panels, the Cadillac CT5 rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant.

Red enhancement package. Now that’s special!
Less is more. I rather have the car and save $3,400 by forgoing the accent package.
