As a reminder, the 2023 Chevy Traverse is powered by the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, while output is routed to the ground via the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
Under the skin, the Traverse rides on the long-wheelbase variant of the GM C1 platform. Production takes place at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.
Looking forward, General Motors recently revealed the next-gen Traverse, which stands as a complete overhaul in comparison to the current model.
