Last Chance To Win This 1957 Chevy Bel Air

Back in April 2023, we brought you a 1957 Chevy Bel Air that’s currently up for grabs in a sweepstakes event. Now, your chance to win this iconic Tri-Five has almost expired, so be sure to enter now if you want this second-generation Bel Air parked in your driveway!

Featuring a full frame-off restoration, this pristine example of classic American steel will be given away later this year as part of a sweepstakes that ends on August 17th, 2023. Winners will also receive $12,500 to cover taxes.

The sweepstakes is hosted by New Beginning Children’s Homes, which is offering this 1957 Chevy Bel Air as a prize in a new fundraising effort facilitated through Dream Giveaway. New Beginning Children’s Homes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit offering long-term residential care to foster children, providing kids in need with a safe, family atmosphere in which to grow, heal, and be loved. New Beginning Children’s Homes is the sole and exclusive sponsor and administrator for this Chevy Bel Air sweepstakes.

By-far one of the most attractive aspects of this 1957 Bel Air is the dynamic body work, which features enormous tailfins, a “twin-rocket” hood design, and gobs of chrome all over. Not to be outdone, the interior is in pristine condition, and includes several modern-day creature comforts like air conditioning and heating, a stereo, and a tilt steering wheel, among other details.

Under the hood, we find a high-performance carbureted 350 cubic-inch V8 crate engine, which is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Other performance goodies include four-wheel disc and power brakes, along with power steering.

Now, this classic 1957 Chevy Bel Air can be yours. Every donation made to New Beginning Children’s homes through this sweepstakes will grant a chance to win, but GM Authority readers can use promo code GM0723B for bonus tickets. The contest ends on August 17th, 2023, so don’t wait around!

  1. That is still the most famous of the classic Chevrolets. My neighbor had one in red with black interior.

  2. Never felt the two-door sedan was particularly stylish.

The ’57 Chevy did not earn its ‘classic’ consideration right away. For years Chevrolet enjoyed the #1 spot in sales, but 1957 was a year of radical styling change, and sales results favored those brands which embraced the changes. The ’57 Chevy – essentially a warmed over 1956 Chevy – was outsold by the new generation ’57 Ford, and had the radically restyled ’57 Plymouth closing in from behind.

As years passed, and as car styling often became overly gaudy and prioritized over comfort and quality, ’57 Chevys became appreciated for their balance between pre-57 and later years.
