Here’s When Orders For The 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV’s Redline Edition Will Close

Orders for the Redline Edition package (RPO code WGQ) on the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV will close after the week of September 14th, 2023, with the package no longer an available option after that date, GM Authority has learned from sources familiar with the matter.

Furthermore, the Redline Edition package will be built out following the week of November 20th, 2023, with the final Chevy Bolt EUV units equipped with the package produced during that week. It’s worth nothing that production of the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV has recently been extended through December.

The Redline Edition package for the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV was introduced in May 2022 for the U.S., Canadian, and South Korean markets. It is designed to give the Bolt EUV an aggressive, sporty look and consists of the following elements (with relevant RPO codes in parenthesis where appropriate):

  • 17-inch Gloss Black painted aluminum wheels with Red accents (PWW)
  • Black and Red Bolt EUV badge and Red accent decal on outside mirror caps (WTV)
  • Jet Black perforated leather-appointed seating

The Redline Edition package is priced at $495 and includes a black and red Bolt EUV badge on the rear hatch plus red accent decals on the outside mirror caps. It is only available on Chevy Bolt EUV crossovers with one of the following exterior paint colors (color codes in parenthesis):

  • Summit White (GAZ)
  • Mosaic Black Metallic (GB8)
  • Silver Flare Metallic (GSJ)

Both the Chevy Bolt EV and the Chevy Bolt EUV were slated to permanently go out of production later this year. However, because of the small all-electric crossover’s popularity with the driving public, GM has decided to bring back the Chevy Bolt in a new generation.

The next-generation Bolt EV won’t be a clean-sheet design, but updated from The General’s second-gen EV tech to the latest third-generation EV technology. This will include GM Ultium batteries and GM Ultium Drive motors for motivation along with Ultifi technology to make the vehicle fully connected to GM’s growing suite of apps, programs, and subscription services.

As a reminder, the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV is propelled by a single, front axle-mounted electric motor developing 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. Energy is supplied by a 65 kWh lithium-ion battery, giving the Bolt an estimated driving range of 247 miles.

The current Chevy Bolt depends on the GM BEV2 platform for structure and is produced at the GM Lake Orion plant in Michigan.
