Chevy Bolt EV Pricing
For reference, here are the 2023 Chevy Bolt EV trim levels with their corresponding starting MSRPs, $995 destination freight charge included:

The 2023 Chevy Bolt EV receives minor changes over the 2022 Chevy Bolt EV.
Last fall, the Chevy Bolt EV received the 2023 U.S. ALG Residual Value Award along with two more models from GM, namely the 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500 HDÂ and 2023Â GMC Hummer EV Pickup.
However, in March, the Chevy Bolt EV and Chevy Bolt EUV ranked significantly below the segment average in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. EV Experience Ownership Study. Additionally, Chevy took last place in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Electric Vehicle Experience Home Charging Study, which measures customer satisfaction with permanently mounted Level 2 home electric vehicle charging stations.
Value-wise, though, in December we reported that the 2023 Chevy Bolt EV is a steal with the full EV tax credit of $7,500. That may be in spite of a $900 price increase in January on the 2023 Bolt EV.
Furthermore, in April, the Chevy Bolt EV was recognized as a 2023 AAA Car Guide winner by the Automobile Association of America in its small vehicle category.
Last month, Kelley Blue Book reported that the 2023 Chevy Bolt EV and Bolt EUV are the least expensive EVs to own over the span of five years in their respective category.
The Chevy Bolt EV and Chevy Bolt EUV currently serve as GM’s entry-level all-electric vehicles, offering zero local emissions and surprising practicality, all at an affordable price point. While The General initially confirmed that production of the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV will officially come to an end later this year, GM CEO Mary Barra confirmed during a Q2 2023 earnings report presentation that a next-generation Chevy Bolt is on the way after all. The automaker plans on “updating the vehicle with Ultium and Ultifi technologies,” Barra said during the earnings call, though the next-gen Chevy Bolt won’t be a clean-sheet redesign.
GM Authority has recently learned that 2023 Chevy Bolt EV, Bolt EUV production has been extended into December.

It is a very good new to ear that the Chevy Bolt will be produced in 2023. Unfortunately the Bolt will not be available in Europe ! We miss greatly such a car in Europe and especially in France ! Which automobile dealer would be able to distribute the Bolt ion Europe ??? It would largely counterbalance the chinese invasion. Please do not abandon us.
How is this a deal? Is there a buy out price at the end? Seems like the $7500 tax credit is captured by the lease company, not passed along to the consumer. Unlike Jeep , Nissan and others that credit the $7500 to the consumer.
I get Bolt has grown more popular yet is far from an industry leader. Why is Barra converting current design to Ultium when Electra 4 could easily be badge engendered for North America with simply a unique front clip?
Chevy would have more modern styling and this could wear Bolt moniker.
