The 2023 Cadillac Escalade introduces the third model year for the latest fifth-generation luxury SUV, debuting a variety of important changes and updates. The biggest is the introduction of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V, a new high-performance variant that boasts the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed through the same updated GM 10-speed automatic transmission and fed to a four-wheel drive system, yielding a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Upgraded brakes and Magnetic Ride Control suspension with special tuning help to keep it all under control.

The 2023 Escalade also adds a new Surround Vision Recorder system, standard on all trim levels, plus expanded driving coverage for GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assistance feature, and return of the Brembo Performance Brake Package.

For the second straight quarter, the Cadillac Escalade was rated as the second-most desirable luxury vehicle, coming in behind the Buick Enclave in both Q4 2022 and Q1 2023 rankings.

While the 2024 Cadillac Escalade was originally expected to introduce a mid-cycle enhancement for both SUVs, GM Authority has learned that the refresh has been delayed to the 2025 model year, or possibly even later. According to GM Authority sources, in addition to exterior styling revisions, the refreshed Escalade will feature a full-width, pillar-to-pillar infotainment display panel similar to that of the Cadillac Celestiq ultra-luxury sedan.

However, GM just debuted the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, the first-ever all-electric full-size SUV from the luxury marque. Highlights of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ include streamlined styling, a tech-heavy feature list, 55-inch infotainment screen, and 450 miles of range with 750 horsepower on tap. Production is slated to kick off next year.

  2. My dealer has 4 slade-v’s in transit, which probably means all presold. He has 12 lyriq’s in stock. Which is more unobtainium? Why in the world would gm offer deals on slades when they don’t stay on the lot more than a week. I do see “Special offer” on several of the lyriq’s on the website whatever that means. Those slade-v’s BTW have stickers from 152-162.

Then maybe in a few months they get there over Price inflated Escalade to match there Ego inflated heads. Win Win Situation, all are Happy in Jonesville.
