Production of the Hummer EV SUV first got under way in January, with the Edition 1 designated as the first trim level to roll off the line. All GMC Hummer EV variants are produced at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan, previously known as Detroit-Hamtramck.
The various 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV trim levels differ with regard to the powertrain setup. The Hummer EV 2X is equipped with two GM Ultium Drive motors producing upwards of 625 horsepower. A 20-module GM Ultium battery provides the electrons, while the GM BT1 platform provides the underpinnings. Pricing starts at $90,395.

Production numbers for the 2024 GMC Hummer EV have been on the rise since the first units rolled off the line in November of 2021. The GMC Hummer EV Pickup was the first body style to be produced.
