Initially rolling off the line for the 2022 model year, the GMC Hummer EV Pickup offers impressive off-road capability and performance thanks to GM’s latest all-electric vehicle technology. The current 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup introduces a few important updates and changes compared to the preceding 2023 model year, including new pricing. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the latest pricing information for the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup.
The latest 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup pricing information includes MSRP for the 2X and 3X trim levels, as well as the range-topping 3X Omega Edition. The 2X is currently the least-expensive MSRP announced, set at $98,845, while the 3X Omega Edition is the most-expensive, starting at $150,295.
Check out the table below for a breakdown of the latest 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup pricing information. Note that prices listed include the destination freight charge:
Trim Level | Powertrain | 2024 MSRP + DFC |
---|---|---|
2 | 2-Motor – 20-Module Battery | TBD |
2X | 2-Motor – 20-Module Battery | $98,845 |
3X | 3-Motor – 20-Module Battery | $106,945 |
3X | 3-Motor – 24-Module Battery | $116,940 |
3X Omega Edition | 3-Motor – 24-Module Battery | $150,295 |
Critically, the revised 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup pricing includes an increase to the DFC, which rises from $1,995 to $2,295, making it $300 more expensive.
Notably, the GMC Hummer EV Pickup 2X was originally announced with an MSRP of $89,995 in 2021, while the 3X was announced with an MSRP of $99,995. At the time, the DFC was set at $1,595, or $700 less than it is today.
Regardless, early reservation holders will get a $8,150 credit for the GMC Hummer EV Pickup 2X and a $6,250 credit for the GMC Hummer EV Pickup 3X, per the official vehicle configurator. Doing a little quick math, we find this works out as follows:
- GMC Hummer EV Pickup 2X: $98,845 – $8,150 – $700 = $89,995
- GMC Hummer EV Pickup 3X: $106,945 – $6,250 – $700 = $95,995
As a reminder, all GMC Hummer EV models are equipped with GM Ultium Drive motors and GM Ultium battery packs, with the GM BT1 platform providing the underpinnings. Production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

An $8850 price increase to the cheapest model with zero upgrades… and they try to say inflation is under 5%
Vehicle manufacturers aren’t adhering to inflation in the least and it’s disgusting. Problem is that the metrics that define inflation don’t include new vehicles, but do include a slew of junk that doesn’t impact us daily. It should be based only on things like food, rent, fuel, etc. And then vehicle manufacturers should face uninterested buyers until they revert prices to at least 2021 levels. But the brain-dead (most thinking that the economy will never tank) keep on buying and could care less. That’s disgusting as well.
This vehicle is laughable and so is the SUV version. It never should have been produced. Waste of corporate time and resources. Who voted for this (and the Celestiq? Fire them.).
The point of the Hummer EV is to test the technologies that are going to be on the Silverado, Sierra EVs, Cadillac Escalade IQ and Brightdrop trucks. Even the Lyriqs rear motor is the Hummers front motor. Even the Lyriq is a test for the Blazer and Equinox EVs. Work the bugs out using lower production number vehicles before you go to your bread and butter vehicles.
Yeah, right test technology so they can shove the Evies down our throat. Most people do not want electric vehicles.
I love that new Hummer badge. It’s like a little map of all the places you can get stuck for 4 days waiting for this useless 10,000 pound boat anchor to charge.
EVs are the automotive equivalent of Michael Jackson jackets. Someday we’re all gonna look back on this ridiculous boondoggle and feel nothing but cringe.
Just don’t buy it……..get in your KIA and go home. As long as they have clients that buy them….they will continue to offer them.
@Fudge
Do you mean Greedflation or better yet incompetence on GM’s part?
GM is most definitely not increasing the prices because of inflation.
Why is Tesla dropping prices but GM is raising prices on their BEV’s?
Shouldn’t mass production lower prices?
Someone at GM needs to explain why they are having such an insanely hard time mass producing BEV’s
The media is letting Mary and the team skate by with this and it is absolutely inexcusable for both the customers waiting on their vehicles and GM investors.
Greedflation? C’mon man. They’re a business, not a charity. As much as I hate this Hidiocracy of a truck, the market sets the price and if they can get that much for them, they should. The only people whining about ‘greed’ are the flippers mad that GM is cutting into their profits.
Wow, I didn’t see that huge increase coming. I actually thought it would be a price reduction like the Tesla.
@Carl
Same
Someone at GM needs to be held responsible for the rollout of the Ultium BEV’s
Customers have been waiting for two years and GM still cannot Mass produce any of them.
It is embarrassing!!!
A huge price increase when nobody is buying them to begin with? An interesting business tactic by GM indeed…
Nobody buying? Hummer EV’s are selling immediately, even with huge market adjustments. Any dealer selling close to MSRP, has buyer traveling thousands of miles to buy the truck. GM’s demand is strong at these price points.
A dealer told me someone paid 200k for the SUV. They are all selling for over and they can only be ordered. They get one display model and there will be no lot inventory. So yes, people are buying them.
As we stay in the car business. There is an @ss for every seat.
Varney Gmc in Bangor Maine has 2 on the lot,1 of each. Not stocking? And that was driving by. Who knows maybe they have more.
I don’t know if you actual live near Barney GMC,but one of those Hummers is in transit and good luck buying the other one. Like Lyriq at some point dealers are suppose to have one available for test drives and loaner.
I’ve been lucky enough to have been driving the SUV EV for about a month now. I’m a fan boy no doubt but it is better then every truck I’ve driven to date. Most recently an 23 AT4 1500. It’s amazing in a few ways. It handles like a much smaller more agile car. I used to drive an 86 v6 fiero back in the day, and many more since. Yes, im in the business. I’m not sure if it’s the 4 wheel steering or the lower weight mass, but it slays traffic! Also, it’s always in the right gear at the right RPM. The power to pass is immediate. Making a right turn from a stop, acceleration out of the turn is so smooth. And I thought the baby dmax with the 10 speed was smooth. I’ve driven 300 miles to see a family member twice and the worst thing is the inconsistencies of the chargers. However, 250kw, if you can get it, can add on the miles fast, like 47min to 1hr15mins in the middle of a 300 mile road trip.. You just have to plan differently. Add in a lunch stop and make sure your hotel has a charger. You pay 12 bucks for parking anyways but wake up to an almost a full battery, two nights and your battery will be full when you leave town. I charge at home and everyday my battery starts at 80%. I don’t see myself charging anywhere but home day to day from here on with a 19.2kw in the house.
I don’t think they want to sell them, because they can’t build them.
The revised pricing for the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup is a welcome update. Making electric vehicles more accessible and competitive in the market is a significant step towards broader adoption. It’s great to see automakers adjusting their strategies to align with consumer expectations and market dynamics. Get valuable information on economyev.co.uk.
Where is this supposed credit on the configurator? I see no mention of it
I remember a 60 Minutes episode where they showed just how much excavation it took to get the materials to make the number batteries it takes for just one car.
It was amazing how much earth needed to be dug up to achieve this product.
When they calculated whether going Electric was really inviormentaly healthy, the figured in all the toxic byproduct or trash that the equipment used for this and their exhaust, and determined it takes the electric car driving over 60,000 miles before the good out weights the bad.
Having said thus, there is a whole new battery being made now that doesn’t have any liquid in them, can’t blow up, can bend like paper, and charges instantly with unbelievable mikes per charge… Like 4 round trip Coast to Coast before needing to recharge.
So even though Electric Vehicles have their challenges and drawbacks, technology will ketch up eventually.
Fossil fuel is killing all of us! And plastics too!
