Following a series of announcements in preparation for the official reintroduction of Chevrolet‘s full-size truck in the country, General Motors has opened the reservation period for the new 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 in Brazil.
The automaker announced that the pre-sale period of the 2024 Chevy Silverado in Brazil began on Saturday, August 26th, coinciding with the first public exposure of the pickup during the 2023 Expointer agricultural fair that begins the same day, and will be open until September 3rd in the Esteio municipality of the Rio Grande do Sul state. The first Silverado units are expected to officially reach the Brazilian market at the end of the year.
“We are making a big investment in the Chevrolet pickup line. After the launch of the New Montana and the New S10 Midnight, the brand will complete the portfolio with the New Silverado,” said President of GM South America, Santiago Chamorro. “Driven by the growing agribusiness in the country, the premium pickup truck category emerged, and Chevrolet’s long-standing tradition also explains the great expectations for the New Silverado,” he added.
In particular, during the 2024 Chevy Silverado’s pre-sale period in the South American country, the company is offering an initial batch of 500 units, with the High Country trim level as the only option, but in a configuration developed exclusively for the Brazilian market. Interested customers can make their reservation for the 2024 Silverado at the Chevrolet booth at Expointer and throughout the brand’s extensive network of official dealers.
In fact, the new 2024 Chevy Silverado boasts the largest service network for full-size pickups in Brazil, supported by more than 550 dealers throughout the Brazilian territory, or up to six times larger than that of rivals Ford and Ram. In addition, Silverado features the largest, most functional bed in its segment while being available with a cargo divider, a power-retractable tonneau cover and a dedicated cargo area HD camera.
The 2024 Chevy Silverado began its reservation period on August 26th in Brazil, and the first units will be delivered during the last quarter of the year, when the official launch of Chevrolet’s flagship truck in that country is scheduled. It will be offered in Abalone White, Rush Grey, Global Black and Radiant Red colors along with a three-year warranty. The price of the 2024 Silverado High Country is 519,990 reais, about 106,700 USD at current exchange rates.
