GM launched BrightDrop in early 2021 as a new business focused on providing an ecosystem of all-electric first-to-last-mile delivery products. Among these products are new all-electric delivery vehicles under the BrightDrop Zevo nameplate. Now, GM Authority is detailing the 2024 BrightDrop Zevo lineup and some of the big changes in store.
The biggest update for the 2024 BrightDrop Zevo lineup is the launch of the new Zevo 400, the brand’s all-electric light commercial vehicle. The 2024 BrightDrop Zevo 400 offers more than 400 cubic feet of cargo space, and is available in multiple configurations, including a single-motor model with front-wheel drive, putting down 240 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, and an all-wheel drive model putting down 300 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. Both Zevo 400 models incorporate a 14-module battery pack as standard and offer 200 miles of range, while the all-wheel-drive model is also available with an optional 20-module battery pack good for 250 miles of range.
The new 2024 BrightDrop Zevo 400 joins the Zevo 600, the latter of which first hit full series production for the 2023 model year. The 2024 BrightDrop Zevo 600 now offers a front-wheel-drive configuration with the 1-motor Ultium Drive System (RPO code XRM), in addition to the all-wheel-drive 2-motor Ultium Drive System (RPO code XRJ). Output levels match those of the Zevo 400 at 240 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque for front-wheel-drive models, and 300 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque for all-wheel-drive models.
To note, the 14-module battery (RPO code EW2) is now standard, while the 20-module battery (RPO code ETJ) is optional on all-wheel-drive variants. The 20-module battery was standard on the Zevo 600 prior to the 2024 model year.

What’s are expected sales for the next 4 quarters?
I still think that the long body would make a great RV conversion on a stretched Silverado chassis with a turbo diesel 10 speed. I know that’s sacrilegious for you EV folks, sorry.
I’ve seen the 600 a lot in my neighborhood over the past few months. It’s surprisingly smaller than I expected. The 400 should definitely be a great Transit EV competitor.
It needs a solid state battery ????
750 miles on a charge & 15 minute charge
Rate & 10 year warranty ????
Does anyone know the inside length, width and height of the Zevo 400 and Zevo 600?
