GM announced BrightDrop in early 2021, launching a new delivery and logistics venture to provide customers with an ecosystem of all-electric first-to-last-mile delivery products. Among those products are new all-electric delivery vans under the BrightDrop Zevo brand. Now, GM Authority has learned that new 2024 BrightDrop Zevo vans will offer a new Power Door Package.
The new Power Door Package for the 2024 BrightDrop Zevo vans is tagged with RPO code PCP, and includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Power open/close bulkhead door (BHD)
- Power passenger door (YG2)
The Power Door Package is available on all four of the 2024 BrightDrop Zevo configurations. Package pricing is currently unavailable.
The new Power Door Package for the 2024 model year replaces the manual open / close bulkhead door (RPO code AYM) offered previously. The new Power Door Package also indirectly replaces the automatic open / manual close bulkhead door (RPO code BHA), which is no longer available to order. The automatic open / manual close bulkhead door was previously offered as an optional feature since the production start of the BrightDrop Zevo 600.
In addition to the introduction of the new Power Door Package, the 2024 BrightDrop lineup also introduces the Zevo 400, rounding out the brand’s all-electric light commercial vehicle lineup. The BrightDrop Zevo 400 offers over 400 cubic feet of cargo space, and is available in a variety of different configurations, including a single-motor, front-wheel-drive model producing 240 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, as well as an all-wheel-drive model producing 300 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. A 14-module GM Ultium battery pack is included as standard, rated at roughly 200 miles of range per charge, while the all-wheel-drive model is offered with an optional 20-module battery pack that bumps the range up to 250 miles per charge.
The 2024 Brightdrop Zevo 400 joins the Zevo 600, the latter of which offers additional cargo space compared to the Zevo 400.
