Take A Walk Around The Chevy Silverado EV WT: Video

Officially debuting early last year at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show, the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV ushers in an all-new, all-electric take for the popular pickup. The first two trims out the gates will be the WT and RST. Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV WT with the following exclusive video.

The front end of the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV WT.

Hosted by GM Authority Executive Editor Alex Luft, the video clocks in at 10 minutes, 15 seconds, and provides a thorough overview of the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV WT’s exterior features. This particular example is a 4WT model, offered as the range-topping equipment group of the WT trim level.

The design incorporates white paint offset by flat-black trim elements, giving it a somewhat stark appearance. The black elements include the patterned grille cover, which houses a large gold Chevy Bowtie badge, and the bumper. The front end also shows off the two-tiered “high-brow” lighting treatment, with thin LED lighting signatures up top matched with wider forward-facing lights lower in the fascia, the latter of which provide the primary forward illumination.

The front end also sports a front-facing camera, while the hood incorporates a chiseled design with two raised sections flanking a lower section in the middle. Under that lid, you’ll find the eTrunk, which provides bit over 10 cubic feet of extra storage, as well as a 120-volt outlet. The lid itself is manually operated on the WT trim level.

In the corners, we see a set of 18-inch wheels, finished in black, while the sideview mirrors are also finished in black. Small cameras can be seen underneath the mirrors. The Silverado EV script, complete with a blue “E”, is seen in the doors, while fixed running boards run the length of the truck along the bottom. The front doors include keyless entry. A black-trimmed sail panel recalls the profile of the Chevy Avalanche.

Moving into the rear, we see the taillights sit in the corners of the bed in an upright layout that stretches into the rear fenders. The rear bumper includes a corner step, while a hand hold is found in the bed side. This truck is also equipped with a tonneau cover.

There’s plenty more to say about the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV WT’s exterior features, so hit play for the full walk around video:

  5. Glad GM is producing these electric trucks, however this has the appearance of a stripped down basic truck. If you’re going to pay that much for something you want it to at least look good. This plainness takes the excitement out. I don’t care for the avalanche profile either.

  6. Or just take a walk after getting a peak at the $80,000 base MSRP.

  8. I agree it is underwhelming and will be over expensive. GM has gone woke with Hiden and should be treated like Bud Light and Target. EVs will be $20k more than ICE! Not buying their garbage.
