If you want a fully custom lifted Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup that’s ready to roll the second you take delivery, then the folks at Rocky Ridge have a solution. Built with a slew of high-end parts and an aggressive attitude that’s sure to get noticed, these trucks are available straight from your local dealer. Now, we’re taking a closer look thanks to the following walkaround video.
Clocking in at a little over six minutes, the video includes all the highlights of the custom Rocky Ridge Chevy Silverado 1500. First things first, it rides on a 6-inch suspension lift with custom valved shocks from Fox, plus a set of custom 20-inch Rocky Ridge wheels offered in two separate finishes – Satin Black and Gloss Black. The rollers are wrapped in 35-inch off-road tires. Options also include 22-inch custom wheels, once again available in either Satin Black or Gloss Black, and wrapped in 35-inch off-road tires.
The exterior is enhanced further with body-matching fender flares, made in-house at Rocky Ridge, as well as a set of bumper vents with accent lighting and a skid plate finisher for the chin. To get in and out, there’s a set of wheel-to-wheel step rails, while power assist steps are optional. You’ll also notice Rocky Ridge puddle lights that display the company logo when you open the door, as well as a set of RGB Bluetooth rock lights for either lighting up the trail at night, or just to show off on the street.
A custom hood decal is up front, as is a windshield banner, with complementary badging on the doors and tailgate. The bodies of these trucks are available in several different colors, while a two-tone black upper body treatment adds even more visual punch. A custom cat-back exhaust with dual tips provides a little aural enhancement.
Further upgrades can be found in the cabin with custom stitched logos in the headrests. A fully custom leather interior package is offered as well. Other notable features in the cabin include a center console safe.
Critically, these trucks retain the factory warranty, and also include an additional three-year / 36,000-mile warranty for the custom bits.

Noticed there is no mention of the very necessary re-gearing of the front and rear differential’s ring and pinions to a lower gear necessary when swapping to larger diameter tires nor is there any mention of changing out, at least the front brakes, to larger rotors and six-piston calipers due, again, to much larger tires to retain stopping power. ….oh wait ..he did mention “custom caliper covers….LMAO !
Makes sense as Rocky Ridge has been doing this for years with Jeep, Dodge/Ram. I’m sure a lot of enthusiasts would take a pass on Rocky Ridge for either being too expensive or not as “good” as other aftermarket parts. BUT, I think there’s value when it comes to retaining manufacturer’s warranty. Way too easy for dealerships to deny warranty work because a vehicle was lifted…..and the lift could have nothing to do with the work to be performed under warranty
I am a former Chevrolet dealer and I sold these trucks. They say that they are under warranty, I found out about that the hard way when my customers had drive line problems. Stay away as the trucks are prone to u joint problem issues and rear axle. The buyer and dealer are on their own. Beautiful truck packaging and a big promise!
Spending all those big bucks and still have a factory warranty still in affect? B.S.!!!!! Buying one of these is just plain stupid. If you are going to still go threw krap when, not if, you have a warranty issue, buy a stripper (If possible) and build it yourself! That way, one can use even better parts and build it the way you want. Any color, any tire, any brand lift, and any wheel. As the ex dealer says, STAY AWAY!!!!
