Last Chance To Order A 2023 Cadillac Escalade In Mahogany Metallic

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade is the third model year for the current fifth-generation luxury SUV, offering a number of small changes and updates compared to the preceding 2022 model year. Now, GM Authority has learned that customers interested in ordering the 2023 Cadillac Escalade in Mahogany Metallic paint will need to act quickly, as the last order cycle for the color is quickly approaching. It’s unclear at this time if Mahogany Metallic will be offered for the 2024 model year.

According to GM Authority sources, the last order cycle for a 2023 Cadillac Escalade in Mahogany Metallic (paint code G48) starts August 3rd, 2023. Mahogany Metallic will be built out after the week of September 18th.

Mahogany Metallic paint is currently offered on every trim level and configuration of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade, including the extended-length Cadillac Escalade ESV, with the exception of the high-performance Escalade-V and Escalade-V ESV. For models on which it is offered, Mahogany Metallic is available for an extra $625.

The Mahogany Metallic paint option was initially introduced to the Cadillac Escalade lineup in conjunction with the 2022 model year, joining the paint option list as one of three new hues. The other two paint options added for the 2022 model year included Galactic Gray Metallic and Wilder Metallic.

It’s unclear at this time if Mahogany Metallic will be offered for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade, which is set to introduce a mid-cycle enhancement (otherwise known as a refresh) for the fifth-generation luxury SUV.

As a reminder, non-V variants of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade are offered with two engine options, including the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine, rated at 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Under the body panels, the Cadillac Escalade rides on the GM T1 platform, while production takes place exclusively at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

  2. I’ve owned GM vehicles since my first car that was purchased in Jan 1968
I returned home from my first tour in that hell hole, Viet Nam, and after saving all my paychecks, with no R&R I bought that new 67 Camaro off the showroom floor!
My Father, who got me excited about GM, had a 1953 then a 1956 Chevy.
I’ve owned Suburbans, Monta Carlos, H2 (2003) Hummer, a Escalade and Escalade ESV and now a 2020 Chevrolet High Country Silverado!
I will NEVER own ANY vehicle that has a dealership adjustment BUMP on the invoice!!
That has to be the stupidest marketing tool I’ve ever heard of! $10,000 on a Escalade and $20,000 on the Escalade ESV.
Those of you that have heard the saying _uck around and find out! Now know the definition!!
And you don’t want me to get started on EV’s …another Brain Fart from our WOKE wanna be’s …GM wake up and make a kick butt ride on money that will sell a vehicle ….for Quality not Quantity…..and out live all those manufacturers who love to be……GM
