After months of speculation and GM Authority coverage, the 2024 Buick Envista was officially unveiled in April 2023. With production of the all-new Buick crossover coupe kicking off in May 2023, GM Authority has learned when the online configurator will go live.
Sources familiar with the matter tell GM Authority that the online configurator for the 2024 Buick Envista is set to go live on July 15th, 2023. Interestingly, this is the same day that the Tri-Shield crossover coupe is currently scheduled to begin arriving on dealerships lots.
As a reminder, the 2024 Buick Envista is the first Buick product to feature the Tri-Shield brand’s latest design language, which is based off the Buick Wildcat EV concept car. The crossover coupe also boasts an 11-inch diagonal infotainment screen, which contributes to 19 inches of total screen space, and the Buick driver confidence package, which features a variety of standard safety and convenience tech items.
Three distinct trim levels are offered, including Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and the range-topping Avenir.
Under the hood, 2024 Envista is only available with one powertrain configuration, which includes the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, rated at 136 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, mated to the GM six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is the only configuration on offer.
Production takes place at the GM Changwon plant in South Korea, while the base Preferred trim level starts at $23,495.

Thank you for the article. But, rather than the Envista as is stated in the above article, I think the Buick Encore GX was the “first” Buick product (in the U.S.) to feature Buick’s new design language, with its shark face and large instrument / infotainment panel. It’s already available while the Envista doesn’t begin to get to dealer lots until the 15th of this month.
Yes, our Buick store and other local stores already have several new-look Encore GX on the lots.
We have had a couple as well.
True.
just another ugly gm product so under powered , it takes all its grunt just to move,, i hate 4 cylinder cars, and ev’s
thomas m: First, have you driven the vehicle? Second, do you even know what the engine is in this vehicle. Third, what do you know about EV’s?
Just asking because it seems like you may not know much about them, and you are wrong in saying 4 cyl or EV in association with this particular vehicle.
You clearly know nothing about the Envista since it’s a 3cylinder. It’s not a 4cylinder like you claimed. So if you’re gonna plan to hate on a car at least get your facts right so you look competent at a minimum.
Right on Adam !
We already have like 15 Encore GXs on the lot with the new Buick emblem
Will the top trim level avenier have a universal garage remote?
