The refreshed 2024 GMC Yukon is headed down the pipe, and it’s bringing with it a slew of important updates and changes. Chief among these is an overhauled cabin, with new infotainment and tech features on the docket. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the interior of the refreshed 2024 GMC Yukon, focusing specifically on the new infotainment layout.
While GM has yet to release official images of the refreshed 2024 GMC Yukon cabin, GM Authority spy images provide some interesting insight into what we can expect. One image, for example, shows camo covering the the top of the SUV’s dash, with a slight curve across the width of the dash forming almost a semicircle shape. This curve would seem to hint that a new instrument cluster and infotainment screen combo are hidden underneath the covers.
Another shot captured from the side of the prototype vehicle shows yet more tantalizing bits of the refreshed 2024 GMC Yukon’s new infotainment setup. It appears as though the layout includes two display panels set side-by-side, with a slight curve across the top of the panels. The panels should be separated by a large volume knob, a layout similar to that of the 2024 Chevy Traverse and Chevy Silverado EV. Additionally, the shift lever will be repositioned to the right-side stalk on the steering column, replacing the dash-mounted rocker switches located on the left of the infotainment screen.
At this point, it’s unclear if the 2024 GMC Yukon Denali and Denali Ultimate will offer a unique dash design, as is the case now with the pre-refresh models.
Either way, the refreshed 2024 GMC Yukon will certainly garner a fair amount of attention. In addition to an overhauled interior, the new SUV will also introduce a revised exterior, including new wheel options and lighting elements, plus a new roof antenna and new exhaust treatment. What’s more, the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine will replace the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel offered currently.

May want to check your source, clearly a Chevrolet emblem on the steering wheel not GMC
The picture caption is clear…it’s a 2023 Silverado EV. It’s not captioned as a Yukon. Look again. 👍
The article says that the interior should be similar to the new Traverse and that’s what’s in the pic.
But not sure why this is even posted since you can’t see a darn thing.
I agree. I’m not a fan of these articles with the camo pictures either. I just don’t have x-ray vision.
My thoughts exactly.
I thought gmc was going with vertical screens similar to what Ford has in the Mach E. Please don’t be copy/paste of a Chevy
Or copy / paste ford. Be original
Worst Suv in the world. I have 85000 miles on my 21 gmc Yukon xl SLT 5.3L and ENGINE BROKE DOWN AND CATYLAC CONVERTER BROKE. Unbelievable Costing me $14000. Will never buy this Suv in my life. And WORST ADVISOR AT GMC SERVICE CENTER.
I put 130k miles on my 21 Yukon 5.3 and I’ve had absolutely no problems with it. Totally will be buying this model.
Good for u, trust me if not me I know 3 other people having same issue. In coming month u will see a recall for lifters in 21 Yukon
Lifters are a well known issue on this engine.
My condolences.
I put 850k mile on my 99 tahoe. No overhaul no nothing . Absolute beast.
I think u need glasses to read my comment, I m talking about new Yukon 21 and up which u can’t afford cuz u still on 99 Tahoe. Prior to 2007 all gmc suv were strong 💪 but after 2007 their reputation is going down, go google it and u will see how many complaints are their.
There are literally hundreds of thousands of those out on the road without problems and 100k or well over out there. You are in the minority here. Yes there are some Roque failures (and there was a bad batch) but usually failures are neglect of the owner going beyond the oil change intervals. These engines must be maintained, the passages or oil requirements are tight. Sucks that happened to you, if it did as its easy to lie on the internet. Funny you know 3 people with the EXACT same problem. I happen to know 56 people with that exact vehicle and none have problems. See how that works? 85k is not bad use out of it, thought it should last way longer. You don’t say exactly what is the problem, broke down means what? Just maintain it and the chanced of a failure are low. The whole lifter failure you hear about impacts less than 3% of the vehicles (chances are its less than 1% in reality). Good luck to you though, now troll somewhere else since you are being such a contributor…
SALTY MUCH? WHAT MAKES YOU THINK GUY WITH THE 99 YUKON WAS EVEN ADDRESSING TOWARDS YOU? PRETTY JUDGEMENTAL AND CRINGE WORTHY TO ASSUME HE CANT AFFORD A NEW ONE BC HE DRIVES A 99, BUT I HOPE IT MADE YOU FEEL BETTER TO BE A DOUCHE
Mas, you have either a Gen 1 or 3 LS engine (depending). The current Gen 5 LS engine has almost nothing in common with your engine except the baseline architecture. That’s especially true of the engine top end.
Glad to hear your vehicle is still going strong.
Look at GM warranty it went from 100,000. Miles power Tran to 60,000 because of their junk engines I had a 99 suburban 300,000 miles throttle body 350 very strong engine. Bought 5.3 in 2016 junk delet engine bad cam and lifter trade up to 6.3 engine injection in cylinders not in head causes sludge ware on piston rings. Mine started use 1 qt oil at 63,000 miles at 90,000 2 qt.
AGREE 100%.
I’m waiting to order the 2024 Yukon Denali but not sure when it’ll be available. You’d think I’d get something else because of all the problems with my 2015. New engine at 85000 miles (glad I had extended warranty), and those damned expensive Magnetic Ride Control shocks which I’ve had to replace twice at 60k and 120k miles – obviously a poor design. Over 9 years (bought in May 2014) there have been many other issues as well judging by the thickness of my repair file.
Why would I want another one? There simply isn’t anything out there that compares… I’m a glutton for punishment I guess.
Well I m telling u these new gmc suv are not worth the price with many problems, I m not kidding, I can email u the receipt how much I have spent on these only problem we use em in our limo business cuz of more space for passengers otherwise if Toyota start making these type, i will go for them. People commenting good here are GM people trust me.
I like my gmc Yukon Denali and will buy another. I drove Escalades for at least 20 years but did not want to spen what the dealer wanted with all the overpricing above msrp. Maybe that will change and I can go back to
the Escalade but with day to day driving I do not see the price difference.
