Here Are All The 2024 Corvette Paint Colors

The upcoming 2024 Corvette is the fifth model year of the C8 Vette, introducing mostly minor updates and changes beside the debut of the hybrid E-Ray variant. GM has also made some changes to the exterior color palette, with three new tints and a fourth previously confined to a single options package now available for all trims.

Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at all of the exterior paint color options The General offers for the 2024 Corvette.

As GM Authority reported last December, the 2024 Corvette will no longer be available with three exterior paint options offered previously for the 2023 model year. These include Caffeine Metallic (color code G48), Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic (GS7), and White Pearl Metallic Tricoat (G1W), all of which have been dropped from the 2024 model year’s lineup of tints.

The 2024 Corvette gets three new colors to replace those deleted, namely Riptide Blue Metallic (color code GJV), Cacti Green (GVR) and Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat (GXA). Additionally Carbon Flash Metallic (color code GAR), was originally offered only on cars with the 70th Anniversary Special Edition (RPO code Y70) package, but is now available across all Corvette variants and trim levels.

As a result, a total of 14 paint options will be available for the 2024 Corvette (color codes noted in parentheses):

  • Accelerate Yellow Metallic (GD0)
  • Amplify Orange Tintcoat (GC5)
  • Arctic White (G8G)
  • Black (GBA)
  • Cacti Green (new for 2024) (GVR)
  • Carbon Flash Metallic (GAR)
  • Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic (G9F)
  • Hypersonic Gray Metallic (GA7)
  • Rapid Blue (GMO)
  • Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat (GPH)
  • Riptide Blue Metallic (new for 2024) (GJV)
  • Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat (new for 2024) (GXA)
  • Silver Flare Metallic (GSJ)
  • Torch Red (GKZ)

All 14 paint options are available for all trim levels and variants of the 2024 Corvette, including the Stingray, E-Ray and Z06. Rapid Blue (GMO) and Accelerate Yellow Metallic (GD0) are extra-charge options priced at $500. Amplify Orange Tintcoat (GC5), Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat (GPH) and Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat (GXA) are also extra-charge with a price of $995.

As a reminder, the 2024 Stingray will be motivated by the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, developing 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque in standard form. Meanwhile, the 2024 Z06 will feature the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, providing output of 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

Finally, the 2024 E-Ray joins the lineup as the first-ever variant in the iconic sports car’s lineup to feature both a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive. Its powertrain pairs the aforementioned LT2 engine with an electric motor on the front axle to develop 655 horsepower.

As previously uncovered by GM Authority, MSRP for the 2024 Chevy Corvette ranges from $67,895 for the 1LT trim of the C8 Stingray Coupe to $130,245 for a 3LZ trim C8 Z06 Convertible. The model’s configurator tool is now officially live.

All C8 Corvette variants rely on the GM Y2 platform for structure, while production takes place exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

  1. I’d buy a Vette just for the color choices! GM, please give us more paint choices on your entire line!!!
Our choices are mostly incredibly boring and just plain ugly.

  2. Proof, once again, that uato manufacturers choose their colors based on the economy. Since the economy is not strong (people are still spedning bu it’s different), they choose more subtle colors.

  3. Just a thought, what colors sell the best or are the most popular on the ultra expensive versions of say, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, ect. There are some vibrant colors that they use that really brings out the best in them, also another thought is going directly into Corvette’s past color pallet’s (especially in the C2 years) that sold the best or was the most vibrant of colors. Same with the usage of the base wheel configurations, perhaps the Corvette styling gang can get themselves of of the styling rut they’re in and take a look at some wheel configurations that are really more impressive.
I don’t see too many of the Super Car wheel styles changed or complained about, most stick with the as delivered wheels as they denote the various years and model. There are those with the ability (and cash flow) to change colors and wheels as they choose, but those are few and far between….just say’n someone ought to look further into other ways of bringing out the captivating styling lines of the C8 body and different wheels and colors could do this, just my opinion.

  4. Some decent colors there. Not too sure about Cacti, will have to see that one in person. It reminds me of a mid-1950s Thunderbird color, or maybe a late 50s early 60s Cadillac.

Does the Sea Wolf Gray have a little green tint to it or is it my monitor?

    Like the new Riptide Blue.

I wish they would dump the Silver Flare and bring back Blade Silver. The gold flake in the silver paint of the Silver Flare, to my eyes, just makes it look a little dingy.

  5. Color Cactus, is for the Old Folks like most of the other colors. GM needs to bring out more bright competition colors. GM selections are lame.
