The 2024 Cadillac XT6Â is the fifth model year of the luxury crossover’s first generation and continues on with relatively few changes from the 2023 model-year vehicle.
Now, GM Authority is bringing you a closer look at the eight different wheel options available for the various trim levels of the 2024 Cadillac XT6. The eight wheels, including two LPO options, include 18-inch, 20-inch, and 21-inch diameters.
The exact wheels fitted to a 2024 Cadillac XT6 vary according to trim level. The Luxury is the only trim equipping 18-inch wheels, though it also offers a 20-inch wheel option. The Premium Luxury and Sport trims roll on 20-inch wheels as standard, but each also has a 21-inch wheel option available. Notably, the 20-inch Chrome wheels, LPO (RPO code S1T) are no longer available to order as of May 2023.
RPO Code | Luxury | Premium Luxury | Sport | |

18-inch Multi-Spoke alloy wheels with Bright Silver finish | Q6X | S | - | - |
20-inch 6-Split Spoke alloy wheels with Polished/Android finish | Q6R | - | S | - |

20-inch 12-Spoke alloy wheels with Fully Polished finish | SLW | - | A | - |
20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO | S2K | A | A | A |
20-inch Chrome wheels, LPO | S1T | - | - | A |
21-inch 12-Split Spoke alloy wheels with Diamond Cut/Android finish | RPW | - | A | - |

The starting price for the base Luxury trim is set at $50,190, which includes the destination freight charge. Pricing tops out at $61,690 before options for the range-topping Sport trim with AWD.
The full 400,000-mile GM Super Cruise coverage update that GM issued in 2022 is not available for the Cadillac XT6, as GM Authority reported last November. Instead, GM Super Cruise-equipped XT6 crossovers received an additional 20,000 miles of coverage.
Lack of the more modern GM Global B platform in the 2024 Cadillac XT6 design and reliance on older electronic architecture is the factor limiting the type of Super Cruise updates the crossover can support.
Turning to powerplants, the 2024 Cadillac XT6 is equipped with either the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine developing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, or the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine providing output of 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque.
A front-wheel drivetrain is standard on the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, while AWD is standard on the Sport trim and optional on the others. The GM nine-speed automatic transmission connects the engine to the wheels regardless of trim level, engine type, or drivetrain.
The GM C1 platform provides the bones for the 2024 Cadillac XT6. Production of the crossover kicked off for the North American market in June 2023 at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
With production of the Cadillac XT5 probably ceasing in North America once the 2024 model year ends and GMC Acadia assembly shifting to the GM Lansing Delta Township plant, the XT6 may soon be the last ICE model produced at Spring Hill.

Great, Cadillac has a variety of wheels BUT don’t try getting a Replacement Headlight. I’ve had a Headlight out on my CTS Coupe for over a year, Cadillac Customer Service keeps telling me go to the Dealership which they’ve called, to get one! The Dealership (where I ordered headlight) keeps telling me Call Cadillac! Ordered new Headlight June 4th 2022…… 🤬
Here I am 14 months later, No State Safety Inspection Sticker because it will not pass and GM keeps giving me the Run-A-Round. Guessing they want me to buy a New Car because GM can’t/won’t get me a Headlight. WT?😡
You’re shocked that they don’t have a ready supply of parts for a car that been out of production for a decade? eBay or junk yard
