Here Are All The 2024 Cadillac XT5 Wheel Options

Ushering in the eighth model year of the Cadillac XT5 crossover’s first generation, the 2024 Cadillac XT5 features only a handful of changes and updates compared to the previous model year, with the nameplate largely unchanged since the 2020 mid-cycle refresh.

Today, we’re zooming in on the six wheel options GM offers on the 2024 Cadillac XT5, which come in either 18-inch or 20-inch diameter. Two of the wheels are dealer-installed, or LPO, choices. While shown here for completeness, the 20-inch Chrome wheels, LPO (RPO code S1T) are no longer available to order as of May 2023.

Different 2024 Cadillac XT5 trim levels have different standard and available wheel options, as shown in the table below. The single 18-inch wheel option is standard on the base Luxury trim only. All other wheels, including both standard and optional designs, are 20-inch on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and range-topping Sport trim levels.

Starting price for the base Luxury trim of the 2024 Cadillac XT5 begins at $45,290, including the destination freight charge. MSRP ranges as high as $58,190 for the Sport trim with its standard AWD, as GM Authority recently revealed.

Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT5 already kicked off in June 2023, and the online configurator is currently live so buyers can choose which options are best for them. GM plans to discontinue the XT5 in North America following the 2024 model year as it changes Cadillac into an all-electric brand for the region.

Meanwhile, the next-generation 2025 Cadillac XT5 will be available exclusively in China, with a planned release in calendar year 2024. China will get another ICE-powered Cadillac vehicle as well – the Cadillac GT4 – alongside several upcoming EV models.

For motivation, the U.S. version of the XT5 comes with a pair of engine choices, namely the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine producing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine cranking 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque.

Both powerplants are paired with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while drivetrain options include either FWD or AWD.

  1. The lease will be up on my 2021 XT5 Premium Luxury, Platinum in 2024. It’s my 2nd XT5 and is identical to my 2017 XT5 Platinum, so I’ll probably lease a new one, but I was hoping for a new model. Unfortunately, the new model will be for the China Market only. Too bad Cadillac is turning its back on the loyal customers, who have contributed to its success. I believe
Cadillac’s “China first Strategy” is a huge mistake and will eventually bite them on the ass.

    1. I agree! I have one of the first CT6 models that came out. It’s 2028. We went to purchase another one as we like this one so much and found out that they discontinued it but they make it in China but it can’t be exported to the USA.. they’re trying to push you into a CT5 that is nowhere near the quality or comfort of the CT6. We have decided to keep our car until we find something else that will be close no matter what Brand.

  2. Wow, this vintage design is really tired. What in the world is GM thinking? Refresh with wheel options?
Yeah, that’ll bring in new buyers that have been sitting on the sideline waiting and waiting, wait for it,
NEW WHEEL DESIGNS! I was on the fence, now I’m glad I waited! I’m going to “dive in” to the all NEW
    wheel options (🤣)

  5. The XT5 is a good seller and I have loved all my XT5s. The Libtards who run GM have their head way up where the sun don’t shine if they think the XT5 should be for the China market only.

Who can afford or who even wants one of their expensive all-electric cars. Many top scientists say that while there is global warming, it is not man-made. It’s all BS using fudged data for scientists to make money off the corrupt Libtard party.

  6. Still a good looking crossover. The advantage to a model like this is that with it being in production for so long, virtually all of the issues are worked out. Buyers who get one in the last year end up with a very reliable vehicle. If they introduce a redesign for 2025, then it will start all over again with the little issues here and there until GM gets them ironed out.

Not to mention, it is one of the few crossovers that still offers a tried and true V6 engine. That alone is worth it.
