GM is in the process of launching the 2024 Buick Envista in the U.S. and Canada as a brand-new nameplate for the North American market, debuting the American variant of the small, premium crossover in April 2023 as a newcomer previously revealed as a model for China.
GM Authority has already given you a detailed look at the available exterior colors for the crossover’s 2024 model year. Today, we’re providing a rundown of the interior colorways and materials offered for the 2024 Buick Envista across all of its trim levels.
The 2024 Buick Envista is available in three trim levels for the North American market: the base Preferred, the youthful Sport Touring or ST, and the range-topping Avenir. The Preferred trim offers a choice of two interior options, the Sport Touring has one, and the Avenir two, as the table below details.
Interior | Seat | Color Code | Preferred | Sport Touring | Avenir |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Ebony Seats and Interior | Cloth with Leatherette | HWN | A | - | - |
Ebony Seats with Slate Interior Accents | Cloth with Leatherette | H5E | A | - | - |
Ebony Seats and Interior with Santorini Blue Stitching | Leatherette | HPI | - | A | - |
Ebony Seats and Interior With Terracotta Stitching | Perforated Leather | H2U | - | - | A |
Pebble Gray Seats with Ebony Interior and Whisper Beige Stitching | Perforated Leather | H6A | - | - | A |
Preferred
Sport Touring (ST)
Avenir
As you can see, Ebony is the most common seat color, with the only other option – Pebble Gray – reserved for the range-topping Avenir trim level.
The 2024 Buick Envista is inspired by the aesthetics showcased in the Buick Wildcat EV concept, including a long wheelbase, a rapidly-raking (coupe-like) roofline resulting in a sleek profile, and LED checkmark headlights located high in the fascia. Inside, the Buick Envista offers more legroom than previous small Tri-Shield crossovers, along with a flat-bottom steering wheel and 19 diagonal inches of combined LCD screens, including an 11-inch diagonal infotainment screen.
The Buick driver confidence package – comprised of Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, IntelliBeam automatic high beams, and other features – is equipped as standard on all trims. In terms of available cargo space, the 2024 Buick Envista offers 20.7 cubic-feet of room behind the rear seat and 42 cubic-feet of room with the rear seats folded down.
For motivation, the 2024 Buick Envista cradles the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine under the hood, which develops a maximum of 136 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Pricing, as previously detailed by GM Authority, starts at $23,495 for the Preferred, $25,195 for the Sport Touring, and $29,695 for the Avenir, including a destination freight charge of $1,095.
Structure is provided for the 2024 Buick Envista by the GM VSS-F vehicle set, while production for the U.S. market takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

Epic level rambling to stretch what’s essentially two interior color choices (black or grey) into an entire article… My lazy/procrastinating 17 year old self would’ve commended this author on his BS word-filling skills.
Black or gray, remember the good old days when you could get blue, red, saddle, whit interiors? I am ok with gray but some like other colors.
Why did they have to make a smaller crappy mini SUV. They dropped the basic Encore and only have the GX line. Chevrolet has that covered with the Trax. No AWD or 4WD available. It won’t sell without that.
I live in florida, many live in warm areas and the cost and maintenance of awd not needed.
Overall, i think this will be a home run. Future models ( if successful) could offer more interior colors and bigger motors?
The FWD matched with 6 speed auto should do well with this torque rich motor.
This 3 cylinder produces its power in the 2-4k rpm range, which is where power is needed for most drivers?
I have a 4 cylinder encore and this new motor ( I suspect) will provide a more robust driving experience.
Plus, lower, wider and longer wheel base should improve handling and decrease body roll.
As far as looks, GM continues to release new attractive designs at good price points. This new buick has a lot of cues from the wildcat.
I guess reliability is unknown, as the chinese version ( 2022 and up ) uses different motor. I will say i have two gm vehicles with the 1.4 turbo that have over 100k and they have had minor issues. I think a lot of issues with turbos tend to be lack of knowledge of drivers, ie taking off too fast at start up.
Anyone have any feedback on potential design flaws on the 1.2 motor? I believe it has direct inject, which on a kia we had in 2012 started to burn oil around 75k
