The automotive performance specialists at Callaway Cars have announced the launch of a new supercharger package for the C8 Corvette Stingray, boosting the 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine to C8 Z06-beating levels of output. The package yields “some of the best performance of any Callaway Corvette ever produced,” the company boasts. The announcement follows the reveal of Callaway’s new C8 Corvette Stingray widebody kit, which adds extra girth to the sports car via a selection of carbon fiber bits.
Highlights for the new Callaway supercharger upgrade include a power and torque boost to 687 horsepower at 6,450 rpm and 643 pound-feet at 4,450 rpm, as compared to the stock C8 Stingray’s 490 horsepower at 6,450 rpm and 465 pound-feet of torque at 5,150 rpm. Callaway states that power numbers are measured at the flywheel, and are reported in SAE-corrected values. For reference, the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 in the C8 Corvette Z06 is rated at 670 horsepower at 8,400 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 6,300 rpm.
Naturally, the extra output yields impressive performance on the drag strip as well, with Callaway’s supercharged C8 Corvette Stingray sprinting to 60 mph in 2.67 seconds. The run down the quarter mile is completed in 10.64 seconds at 129 mph.
Callaway Cars says that production of its new C8 Corvette Stingray supercharger package will ramp up this month. Interested customers are encouraged to contact Callaway Cars directly for pricing information.
The announcement of the new supercharger package follows last month’s reveal of the new Callaway C8 Corvette Stingray widebody kit, which includes carbon fiber wheel arches that are bonded to the sports car’s body panels, enabling the fitment of larger wheels and tires, matching the spec for the C8 Corvette Z06. The kit also integrates with the Callaway Aero Package released previously, as well as front splitter winglets.

the 0 to 60 improvement seems miniscule for all that HP incease and cost
Traction limited. With more grip (slicks?), the lower range (<50 mph) would show much more improvement. Look at the 1/4 mile ET and trap speed – that's demonstrating the power increase that can be used.
When they add this supercharger to an E-Ray – with different traction and launch profiles – the numbers we see will amazing.
I am looking forward to this for my 2021 Z51 2LT. I put aside about $35k for a supercharger.
I would like some fender widening, but do not need carbon fiber, and do not want to spend $10k.
I did add Factory Chevy Z06 wheels and tires (about $6k total), so the wide fenders would be nice, but not required.
A friend is planning Z06 rear fenders and rear bumper for his 2020 1LT C8. He is working on it now, let’s
see how that goes.
Magnuson has released their supercharger kit at about $35, that is where I got my number.
Curious what Callaway will charge .
How do I get one?
