The 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 is the sixth model year for the current fourth-gen pickup, introducing just a few updates and changes compared to the previous 2023 model year. Notably, some of those changes include pricing updates for the various trim levels. Now, GM Authority is detailing the latest 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 pricing information right here.
As was the case for the preceding 2023 model year, the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 is offered in a wide variety of trim levels and configurations. The trim level lineup includes Sierra Pro, SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4, AT4X, AT4X AEV Edition, and Denali.
With regard to pricing, some of these trim levels are now more expensive than equivalent 2023-model-year vehicles, while some of the trim levels are now less expensive. Here’s a breakdown of the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 pricing variations compared to equivalent 2023-model-year vehicles:
- Pro: +$600
- SLE: -$1,100
- Elevation: -$1,100
- SLT: -$1,100
- AT4: -$600
- AT4X: -$1,000
- AT4X AEV Edition: -$1,000
- Denali: +$900
- Denali Ultimate: +$400
Some trim levels are now less expensive because the 3 Years of OnStar and Connected Services Plan (RPO code R9M) is no longer included as standard, as is the case for SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4, and AT4X trim levels. This feature was replaced with 3 Year of OnStar Remote Access (RPO code PRF) as standard. Meanwhile, 3 Years of OnStar and Connected Services Plan (RPO code R9M) is still included as standard for Denali and Denali Ultimate trim levels.

Prices dropping and incentives up, the years of greed are ending
About damne time.
Looks like if you want diesel still you’re going have to pay 54k min. Honestly not bad . Glad the diesel still around. I’d probably get the elevation short cab 4wd . Would do the job nicely
Will these include an owners manual?
I ask because my 2024 denali ultimate 3500 dually did not and gm continues to ignore me.
Great business model if you’re an idi9t.
I want a paper manual!
No because GM stopped including printed manuals starting 2023. They can be accessed via GMC’s website, the my GMC icon in the radio screen or from myGMC app on your phone.
If you MUST have paper, go to Helm Inc’s website and order one. Helm makes all of those for the OEMs anyway and they still print them for purchase. GM will tell you to do this exact same thing or have the dealer order one and purchase it from them.
Disagree here you’re spending 50K plus on average for this truck . Having a printed manual isn’t asking for much . It’s shows or doesn’t show GM still cares about its customers enough to keep them in print . Ford does and sells same prices points . Little things like that matter to people still. Ford gives you both actually
Not really true.
My 23 cadillac ct5v blackwing and my wife’s 23 xt6 both came with an owners manual.
My 24 sierra denali 3500 ultimate did not, so it’s either gmc or a 24 deal, but it’s not all gm in 23.
I do know that I’ll not buy another vehicle from any manufacturer if they can’t provide a paper manual with a $100k plus vehicle.
I have a new paper manual from the aftermarket supplier at a cost of $95 with tax and shipping.
Whoever the idiot is that thought it was a good idea to save a few measly $$$ on these vehicles must have just come from “BUD LIGHT” advertising program.
The ignorance of this is mind boggling to me.
My 2023 Chevy High Country did not come with a manual.
then you will never own another new vehicle again. Lots of OEMs stopped providing printed manuals before GM did.
I’m good with never buying another new one. We have one 2022, two 2023’s and the 24 denali ultimate. All 4 of these suck fossil fuel and I’m good with that.
At my age, they can sell that crap to the green freaks.
Oh wait, none of those idiots can afford one because they have no jobs and the government won’t handout enough of our $ to support their green joke.
I would buy a manual if it was specific to my model and options. The last printed manuals were all inclusive leaving the owner to fend for what applied and what didn’t. In this day and age of electronic/digital publishing, I would think this could be readily done.
My 2023 High Country was delivered without an owners manual. I was told by the dealer that GM decided it was easier for their customers to use their phones to look things up.
Can’t get an answer from GM if in fact that was a corporate decision or I’m getting a line of BS from the dealer. >70k for this truck and these cheap screws won’t supply an owners manual.
Alex?
My 23 High Country and 23 Zr2 both came with owners manuals
Here’s the info right from GM on manuals in case anyone has doubts of what I’ve said. Yes, some still have them like your Cadillac:
In November 2021 GM announced the transition to digital owner’s manuals and warranty booklets beginning with the 2022 GMC HUMMER EV. In support of GM’s sustainability initiatives, all 2023 and newer model
warranty booklets are now digital, as well as select 2023 and newer model owner’s manuals (see below for list).
Customers should be educated during delivery and reminded in the service drive to visit the myBrand websites as needed to access the warranty manual or full owner’s manual. A QR code is also available on the back of the new Essential Operating and Safety Information Manual for easy scanning to view, download, print, or order manuals. Customers can also access their digital owner’s manual in the myBrand app on the infotainment system and myBrand mobile app.GM Continues to GO GREEN with Digital Warranty and Owner Manuals We believe it’s our responsibility to leave the world in a better place than we found it, and this is just one of many steps GM is taking to reduce the company’s carbon footprint. Please note, however, that a warranty booklet must be provided in print if the customer explicitly requests a printed copy after learning of their options to access it digitally. Dealers can visit the myBrand website to access and print the requested warranty booklet.
Pricing is beyond my wallet.
Buyer beware of price reductions! What else has been deleted besides the variant of OnStar? Remember the deletion of adjustable pedals? Several respondents were disappointed (to say the least) when their new ordered vehicle arrived without.
The pricing should adjust as follows:
Pro: -$1000
SLE: -$600
Elevation: $0
SLT: +$500
AT4: +$600
AT4X: +$1,000
AT4X AEV Edition: +$1,000
Denali: +$1,000
Denali Ultimate: +$1,000
Give those who buy the trucks to use them for work a break and those box checkers buying it for an image and the reason they have increased in price so much with all the luxury features charge more. The guy using the Pro for his business shouldn’t be paying more because the suburban dad wants to boast about his lockers and cooled suede seats at his kids soccer practice that will never get used. It should be a tiered increase. All those development costs are being spread through the line incorrectly, the Pro guys base price shouldn’t increase the same amount as the Denali or AT4X guy.
Denali +1500
Denali Ultimate +2000
Bought a 2018 diesel. 9times in the shop.
Left it the last time I had to take it in. Bought the 1500at4 and gave 5k. Cash deals mind you.
Had that truck. 5000miles. Left bank lifters went out. Ordered a vette the same time I bought the at4. Wanted to trade the NEW broken at4 for the exact yr etc…except it was diesel. (Small motor).
The dealer wanted me to give them another 5k and my truck. How about that for being a loyal customer. Cancelled the vette. Kept the new truck that lifters went out and guess what. Right side bank went out a couple months ago.
