2024 Chevy Traverse Confirmed For The Middle East

Concurrent with the world debut of the all-new 2024 Chevy Traverse on July 17th in the United States, General Motors has confirmed the next generation of Chevrolet‘s full-size crossover for the Middle East.
The automaker announced that the just-introduced all-new 2024 Chevy Traverse will arrive in the Middle East during calendar year 2024, strengthening the Bow Tie brand’s positioning in the large crossover segment with a new design and configuration proposition that looks ready to increase the model’s customer base. This region is one of the few international markets outside of North America where the Traverse is exported.
“Our new Traverse is designed and engineered to act and look more like an SUV,” said Chevrolet Global Vice President, Scott Bell, in a statement. “Led by the all-new Z71, the 2024 Traverse builds on the success of its predecessor and will undoubtedly enable us to be in more customer driveways,” he added.
The totally redesigned 2024 Chevy Traverse represents the first model year of the third-generation crossover that debuts a new design language and more truck-like proportions, the most technologically advanced equipment in its class and a new, stronger powertrain. At the same time, the 2024 Traverse introduces the off-road-focused Z71 trim level for the first time on the nameplate.
Configured to carry up to eight passengers and their luggage, the 2024 Chevy Traverse embraces a next-generation interior design with higher-quality materials and a massive class-leading standard 17.7-inch touchscreen module. Mechanically, the new Traverse comes standard with the new turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 engine developing 315 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The all-new 2024 Chevy Traverse is confirmed to be available in Middle East countries with its official launch in that region taking place sometime next year, several months after its arrival in U.S. dealerships in early 2024. As such, details on region-specific trims and configuration of the 2024 Traverse will be released closer to its local introduction.
