2024 Chevy Blazer EV RS In Radiant Red Tintcoat: Live Photo Gallery

Back in February 2023, GM Authority reported on our first live look of a 2024 Chevy Blazer EV RS in Radiant Red paint color testing out in the wild. Today, GM Authority spy photographers have captured another all-electric Blazer configured in this manner, and today, we’re taking a closer look in the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.

Side profile of 2024 Chevy Blazer EV RS.

This particular unit is painted in striking Radiant Red Tintcoat (color code GNT), and configured in the sporty RS trim level. As such, this all-electric crossover features a black grille, a dual-element LED exterior lighting signature, and a full light bar up front. Notably, despite a few choice stickers, this unit appears to be very close to production-spec.

Moving around to view the side profile, we see black side mirrors, body-colored door handles, front fender vents, and a black-painted lower side-valence.

Out back, the lower valence is painted black, along with a black Chevy logo and a blacked-out BLAZER nameplate badge with a blue “E” stuck underneath the driver-side taillight. The same “blue E” motif has been seen on the Silverado EV and Equinox EV badges, further emphasizing the all-electric powertrain.

As a reminder, the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV will be available with front-, rear-, and all-wheel drive configurations to provide potential customers with the performance they desire. The most powerful variant will be the range-topping Blazer EV SS trim, which will develop up to 557 horsepower and 648 pound-feet of torque, and will be released later this year.

Under the skin, all Blazer EV variants are set to ride on the GM BEV3 platform, and will feature GM Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies for motivation. Production will take place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.

    1. I always have to wonder why someone would down vote a comment like yours. What, you are not allowed to like a color? Makes no sense to me.

      1. Probably because said something flattering about an EV and/or a GM vehicle.

    2. It does look great on the vehicle. Maybe it was someone that is obsessed with white paint and black wheels, which is about as far from aesthetic as you can get.

  2. I saw one in Detroit last weekend. It looked full production, same color as this one. It probably was the same car. It looks pretty good but that back is too much. I guess its a Chevy thing as it reminds me of the Corvette rear.

  3. All Ultrium based EVs have the standard six bolt wheel
pattern. This is due to the higher wheel torque that electric motors apply. Even the Honda and Acura versions have them.

    1. It’s due to the vehicle mass.

      1. mass and torque. unlike ICE torque in EVs is almost instant.

  7. Why does it looks like smaller hearse or station wagon

  8. Not a fan of the colour, the wheels, or the weird shape of the roof spoiler. Otherwise, it looks good.

    1. Jeremy to be honest with you with the backup camera and blind spot alert I don’t even use the rear hatch window much…. I like the blind spot alert on the highway because it forces you to look in you mirror! 😉 Also on our enclave and equinox you can’t see very much out of that rear hatch window anyway.

      1. If you don’t look behind you when in reverse you are an accident waiting to happen.

  9. Kei… That does not look like a hearse… I recently saw Chrysler Pacifica vans being used as herses…. Imagine that! This looks like an OS mixed with modern station wangon GM could have easily added some details and a two door and called it Nomad!

  10. The rear hatch looks like it will be hard to see out of.
