2024 Cadillac XT6 Available With New Red Accent Package

GM has made the new Red Accent Package (RPO code PDK) available to order on the 2024 Cadillac XT6, one of three accent packages offered on the luxury crossover’s new model year (the other two being the Blue Accent Package and the Bronze Accent Package).
The photos we have today show the Red Accent Package on the 2024 Cadillac XT6 in conjunction with the Argent Silver Metallic exterior paint color (paint code GXD), a no-cost option introduced for the 2023 model year along with two other tints.
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 with the Red Accent Package (PDK)
An LPO or dealer-installed option, the Red Accent Package is applied to the 2024 Cadillac XT6 at the dealership rather than at the factory. The package consists of the following items (with relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Red body decal, LPO (SB9)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
- Red wheel center cap, LPO (5ZD)
- Black wheel lug nuts, LPO (SPY)
- Black wheel locks, LPO (SPZ)
- Tire Pressure Monitor, LPO (SD5)
The Red Accent Package is only available to order on the Sport trim of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 with a price of $2,995. The Red package can’t be combined with the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB) or the Onyx Lite Package (PCP) normally available as options on the XT6.
The Sport trim’s standard 20-inch 12-Spoke Diamond Cut alloy wheels with Dark Android Satin finish pockets (RPO code Q6N) are replaced with the Gloss Black wheels supplied with the package.
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 introduces only minor updates compared to the 2023 model year rather than a mid-cycle refresh. The Red Accent packages and other packages are one of more significant new additions to the crossover’s latest model.
The General is discontinuing three paint colors for the 2024 Cadillac XT6, specifically Latte Metallic (color code G5D), Rosewood Metallic (GCK), and Wilder Metallic (GED). The three hues were already unavailable to order for the 2023 Cadillac XT6, having been built out earlier this year.
In place of these three colors, the 2024 Cadillac XT6 will get Emerald Lake Metallic (paint code G6I) and Midnight Sky Metallic (paint code GXF) added to its palette, both priced at $625.
Potential buyers of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 already have access to the online configurator, and start of regular production (SORP) was scheduled for last month, June 2023.
The GM C1 platform underpins the 2024 Cadillac XT6 as it did previous model years. Production of the crossover will continue to take place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee
