2024 Cadillac XT5 Available With New Bronze Accent Package

GM is making three accent packages available for the 2024 Cadillac XT5, including the Bronze Accent Package (RPO code PDJ) we’re taking a closer look at today. The other two packages available for ordering include the Blue Accent Package and the Red Accent Package.

The Bronze Accent Package is shown in the images here on a 2024 Cadillac XT5 with the Opulent Blue Metallic (paint code GTR) exterior paint color, an extra-cost hue added to the XT5 palette for the 2023 model year.

The Bronze Accent Package is a dealer-installed or LPO option for the 2024 Cadillac XT5, priced at $2,995. The package is available only for the Sport trim level of the crossover and includes a set of 20-inch Gloss Black wheels which replace the 20-inch 12-Spoke alloy wheels with Pearl Nickel finish (RPO code Q71) usually standard on the Sport trim.

The items included in the Bronze Accent Package include the following (with RPO codes in parentheses):

  • Bronze body decal, LPO (SB9)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
  • Bronze wheel center cap, LPO (5ZD)
  • Black wheel lug nuts, LPO (SPY)
  • Black wheel locks, LPO (SPZ)
  • Tire Pressure Monitor, LPO (SD5)

The 2024 Cadillac XT5 will introduce only minor changes from the 2023 model year. The three new accent packages, including the Bronze Accent Package, are among the most significant additions to the 2024 XT5. However, it will also debut some changes to the nameplate’s exterior color palette.

GM has dropped three paint colors from the 2024 Cadillac XT5, namely Latte Metallic (color code G5D), Rosewood Metallic (GCK), and Wilder Metallic (GED). The 2024 model gets two new tints, Emerald Lake Metallic (G6I) and Midnight Sky Metallic (GXF), to replace the discontinued hues.

Start of regular production (SORP) of the 2024 Cadillac XT5 kicked off last month. The 2024 XT5 will be the final model year for North America before the first-generation crossover is discontinued in the region.

The second generation of the Cadillac XT5 will be launched exclusively in China, according to GM President Mark Reuss. Reuss said the XT5 will become a vehicle for the Chinese market only “as we move Cadillac in the United States to an all-electric brand.”

The next-generation 2025 Cadillac XT5 is due out in the 2024 calendar year. GM Authority spy photographers brought you photos of the prototype in testing back in March, revealing a styling refresh and an overhaul of the interior. The new generation will be equipped with a new digital display stretching across into the center stack, similar to that found in the updated 2024 Cadillac XT4.
