The Cadillac CT4 made its formal introduction for the 2020 model year, with the current 2024 Cadillac CT4 introducing just a handful of updates and changes over the preceding 2023 model year. As was the case in years past, the CT4 lineup will once again offer a few options for buyers keen on mixing luxury and performance, including the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V and 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing. Now, interested customers can spec the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V and 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing using the official online configurator.
An earlier GM Authority report indicated that the Cadillac CT4 was set for a model refresh in conjunction with the launch of the 2024 model year. However, details later came to light that indicated the refresh would in fact take place later, possibly in conjunction with the 2025 model year, or as an interim 2024.5 model.
As such, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V and 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing only introduce a few small updates and changes compared to the preceding 2023 model year, chief of which is a new exterior paint options list. The new 2024 model-year list includes a total of nine different options, four of which are new. The four new hues include (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Cyber Yellow Metallic (GCP)
- Velocity Red (G7C)
- Coastal Blue Metallic (GJV)
- Black Diamond Tricoat (GLK)
Each of the new paint hues are offered for an extra charge. The rest of the paint options offered for the 2024 model year include:
- Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
- Black Raven (GBA)
- Midnight Steel Metallic (GXN)
- Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)
- Summit White (GAZ)
As for what’s under the skin, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V once again equips the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, which is rated at a maximum of 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is equipped with the twin-turbo 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque.
Both models ride on the GM Alpha 2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
