2023 Chevy Suburban High Country: GMA Garage Live Photo Gallery

Now in its twelfth generation, the Chevy Suburban is a great choice for those buyers that need copious cargo and passenger room, plus a ton of modern features and technology. Beyond its obvious utility, the Chevy Suburban looks great as well. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the 2023 Chevy Suburban High Country with the following GM Authority Garage Live Photo Gallery.

Front end of the 2023 Chevy Suburban High Country.

This particular example is covered in Silver Sage Metallic paint (paint code G6N), offered as a no-cost option for the 2023 Chevy Suburban High Country. For those readers who may be unaware, the High Country is the range topper of the 2023 Chevy Suburban lineup. This particular example is also fitted with the optional 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel engine, which is rated at 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, pairing with the GM 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission. This particular example is also equipped with 4WD.

In terms of styling, the Chevy Suburban is very closely related to the Chevy Tahoe. The biggest difference between the two is the wheelbase, with the Chevy Suburban measuring in at 134.1 inches, and the Chevy Tahoe measuring in at 120.9 inches. However, there are a few other notable styling differences to point out, including the rear-door window treatment, as well as the rear-quarter pillar and window, with the Chevy Suburban showing off somewhat flatter, straighter lines compared to the Chevy Tahoe.

In back, units of the Chevy Suburban (and Tahoe) equipped with the optional diesel engine include concealed exhaust outlets, as compared to the round chrome outlets seen on High Country trim levels equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine. In the corners, this 2023 Chevy Suburban High Country is riding on 22-inch Sterling Silver Painted Wheels with Chrome Inserts.

Looking ahead, the twelfth-gen Chevy Suburban will receive a mid-cycle enhancement (or refresh) for the 2024 model year. As always, GM Authority will be there every step of the way to cover the refresh, so make sure to subscribe to GM Authority for more Chevy Suburban news, Chevy news, and around-the-clock GM news coverage.

  1. Very nice, except, unless you make a $100,000 a year salary, you can’t afford one. All new vehicles are basically beyond reach of the average income level. So sad.

  2. Tony Soprano here, my 24 Escalade came with 24’s. I took them off and had Christafor sell them. I had him borrow some 17’s from a associate. Instant lowered. Looks great.

  3. Would be nice to see a 3/4 ton version. And I dream of a real bench seat up front and room for legs in the middle (no swoop down dash to make center seat area tight). Otherwise it is on my list to consider when I lease this Fall.
