The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V adds three new exterior colors to its palette: Argent Silver Metallic, Midnight Steel Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat. Here’s our first look at the new Red hue.
Assigned RPO code GNT and touch-up paint code WA-170H, Radiant Red Tintcoat is one of nine exterior colors offered on this performance-oriented variant of the CT5 luxury sedan, which include:
- Summit White
- Black Raven
- Blaze Orange Metallic
- Wave Metallic
- Electric Blue
- Rift Metallic
- Radiant Red Tintcoat (new for 2023)
- Argent Silver Metallic (new for 2023)
- Midnight Steel Metallic (new for 2023)
The Radiant Red Tintcoat color is an extra-cost item that adds an additional $1,225 to the price of the luxury sedan and can be combined with all interior colorways.
For reference, here are all three available interior colorways offered on the 2023 CT5-V:
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents
- Whisper Beige with Jet Black accents
- Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black accents
The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V arrived with just a handful of changes and updates over the 2022 model,  including a new Driver Assist Package as standard and Bronze Accent Package. However, the 2023 CT5 loses the Diamond Sky Special Edition Package, replacing it with the new CT5 Blue Accent package.
The 2023 CT5-V is powered by a higher-output version of the twin-turbo 3.0L V6 LGY, rated at 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, and connects to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional.
The Cadillac CT5 rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, which is shared with the Cadillac CT4. Production kicked off at the GM Lansing Grand River plant on July 18th, 2022. Production of the 2024 model year will start on July 10th, 2023.

The Radiant Red Tintcoat looks great.
Still waiting for delivery of my 2023 CT5-V. Ordered mine with Blaze Orange metallic and Bronze package with the black wheels. Hopefully will be driving it in July.
You’ll love it 🙂 just a shame refresh is coming so soon and the interior is on a other level and exterior is alot more on the lines of an aggressive escala design. Will make the original ct5v bw look very dated. But at least the engine is still beast.
