Often considered one of the most iconic generations of America’s sports car, the C2 Corvette – spanning model years 1963 to 1967 – is highly sought after amongst vintage Bow Tie enthusiasts. Today, this 1965 Chevy Corvette Sting Ray Convertible restomod is up for grabs in a new sweepstakes.
The key word here is restomod. That’s right, this particular Corvette Sting Ray boasts $100,000+ in upgrades, and features a fuel-injected 6.2L Chevrolet Performance V8 gasoline engine that churns out 495 horsepower. Set to be given away as part of a sweepstakes, winners will also receive $21,500 to cover taxes.

The sweepstakes is hosted by New Beginning Children’s Homes, which is offering this 1965 Chevy Corvette Sting Ray Convertible as a prize in a new fundraising effort facilitated through Dream Giveaway. New Beginning Children’s Homes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit offering long-term residential care to foster children, providing kids in need with a safe, family atmosphere in which to grow, heal, and be loved. New Beginning Children’s Homes is the sole and exclusive sponsor and administrator for this Chevy Corvette sweepstakes.
Of course, the modifications don’t end in the engine bay. Shifting duties are handled by a Silversports Transmission five-speed manual gearbox, which sends output to the rear wheels. In regard to the interior, a hand-stitched leather appointment is complemented by a Vintage Air system, allowing the winner to enjoy this Vette with the convertible top up or down.
In addition, the suspension and braking systems have been upgraded to help this C2 Sting Ray Convertible handle like a dream; combining classic American looks with modern performance and convenience.
Now, this pristine 1965 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible can be yours. Every donation made to New Beginning Children’s homes through this sweepstakes will grant a chance to win, but GM Authority readers can use promo code GM0623C for bonus tickets.

First thing I’d do is change the wheels, but otherwise looks like a very nice build. Neither site shows the convertible top up (unless I’m somehow missing it), so hopefully it comes with a top.
