Refreshed Cadillac CT5-V Spied Again, This Time In Argent Silver

The Cadillac CT5 was first introduced for the 2020 model year, which means the luxury sedan is set for a mid-cycle refresh in the near future. Naturally, the refresh will include updates for the performance-oriented Cadillac CT5-V trim level as well. Now, the refreshed Cadillac CT5-V has once again been captured testing as a camo-clad prototype.

The last time we saw the refreshed Cadillac CT5-V was in March, but now, we’re getting a look at the sporty four-door in a new color and different wheels. Notably, the Cadillac CT5-V was originally expected to receive a mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 model year, per a GM Authority exclusive. However, new information later came to light which indicated the CT5-V would in fact get a refresh for the 2025 model year, or possibly the 2024.5 model.

Regardless, this particular prototype provides us with an early look at what the refreshed Cadillac CT5-V will bring to the table, including revised exterior styling. The biggest styling differences will be up front, where we see this prototype wearing body-hugging black-and-white camouflage to obscure the updated fascia. The sedan’s new face will incorporate new upper lighting signatures that curve with the front fenders and lead into larger housings in the upper corners of the fascia. The lighting spec will also include an uninterrupted lighting signature that is drawn down into the corners of the lower bumper.

Further styling enhancements will include a reworked front bumper, plus a new grille design. The rear end will go unchanged from the current Cadillac CT5-V, although the cabin will be refreshed with a large infotainment display that connects a digital driver instrument cluster with the primary infotainment screen.

It’s also worth noting that this particular Cadillac CT5-V prototype is covered in Argent Silver Metallic paint (paint code GXD), while in the corners, we see a set of 19-inch Satin Graphite finish wheels (RPO code 57M).

The refreshed Cadillac CT5-V will once again ride on the GM Alpha 2 platform, while production will take place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

  1. No test equipment on the V exhaust = no powertrain updates then right?

    1. Oddly enough this mule has the same side mirrors as always. The last CT5 spied had larger side mirrors.

      1. The ct5 that are going to get imported to China and the middle east have larger mirrors then the us spec versions, they were most likely testing the china/middle eastern spec on the previous spy shots we saw with larger mirrors

  2. Tires are too small and don’t fit the wheel openings well.
Check how BMW wheels almost always fit the body very well.
And don’t tell me about room for snow – there’s plenty of snow in Germany/Bavaria.
    Get with it Cadillac.
