Hot Wheels RLC Exclusive 1969 Chevy Camaro SS Up For Grabs

The 1969 Chevy Camaro is a fantastic platform for a restomod, as countless builders and customizers have proven over the years. Now, Chevy Camaro fans can park this slick Chevy Camaro SS Pro Touring model right on their desk as part of a new Red Line Club exclusive. The new Hot Wheels model is set to launch tomorrow morning.

New Hot Wheels Chevy Camaro SS Pro Touring model.

This special edition 1969 Chevy Camaro SS brings a Pro Touring approach to the classic nameplate, mixing new and old with a 1:64 scale design that incorporates impressive details front to back. Highlight features include a full-metal based Zamac body with a Spectraflame steel blue finish, as well as a set of matte black rally stripes added to the hood and rear end. Authentic manufacturer logos are used throughout, while in the corners, a set of deep-dish style Real Riders five-spoke wheels show off a polished finish. Light smoke-tinted windows and a black-and-matte black interior round it out.

Lift the hood, and you’ll find a fully detailed supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 engine model. A popular engine swap for Pro Touring Chevys, the LT4 is the same powerplant found in vehicles like the C7-generation Corvette Z06, the sixth-generation Chevy Camaro ZL1, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, and the Cadillac Escalade-V, among others. When cradled by the sixth-generation Chevy Camaro ZL1, output is measured at 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.

It’s a nice setup, and should certainly delight Chevy Camaro fans. The model also includes an illustrated blister card and Kar Keepers clamshell case.

This model will be offered exclusively for members of the Red Line Club, and is priced at $25 per unit, according to Mattel’s website. Purchases are limited at two units per club membership, and 10 per household. The Chevy Camaro model is set to launch tomorrow, June 27th, 2023, at 9 a.m. PT.

  1. My brother in law had a real 69 with white racing stripes, but sold it after he got married. It would be worth tens of thousands now.
