The 2024 Chevy Camaro is the final model year for the nameplate’s current sixth generation, but before it goes, Chevy is offering up a pair of special-edition variants. These include the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition, as well as the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition, both of which offer their own unique content and varying levels of exclusivity. Now, thanks to a recent GM Authority poll, we’re learning which of these special-edition Camaro models you’d prefer to see in your driveway.
According to the recent GM Authority poll, 48 percent of poll takers would prefer the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition, while 52 percent were in favor of the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition.
“ZL1 Collector’s Edition rules,” writes one GM Authority reader.
“Collector’s Edition will probably be more valuable over time, but I like the look of the Garage 56,” writes another.
While both special-edition models will have highly limited production caps, the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition will be slightly more abundant at 350 units total, as compared to just 56 units of the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition. To note, 300 units of the 350 ZL1 Collector’s Edition models will be reserved for the U.S., as GM Authority exclusively covered.
The 2024 Chevy Camaro Collector’s Edition pays homage to the first-gen Camaro’s internal program code (Panther) with a number of special touches, including two unique paint options – Panther Black Metallic and Panther Matte Metallic. While the Collector’s Edition upgrade is available on all trim levels, the matte option is unique to 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition models. Further upgrades for the package include 20-inch wheels, decals, 1LE aero components, and a few Panther Easter eggs scattered around the body and cabin.
Meanwhile, the Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition takes inspiration from Chevy Camaro Garage 56 Edition race car that raced at the 2023 running of the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, and includes race car-style dive planes, the ZL1 1LE front fascia, a wicker bill spoiler, white racing stripes matched with gold accents, and Riptide Blue Metallic paint (paint code GJB). Customers also get the option to add race-inspired decals.

I think you should do a poll for the z28 rendering that never happened… that would be the best sent off edition..
Personally, I would go for a Hugger Orange SS/RS with hidden headlights and a houndstooth interior.
Having owned a 69 ss/rs hugger orange with the 396/375 I like both, would get the garage one
Chevrolet and General Motors are making a huge mistake by canceling the Camaro. Especially since they had plenty of advanced notice of the all new 2024 Mustang. They really could have made an all new Camaro with all new styling. Now my Mustang Dark Horse is on order. Fred McFaddin
You need new hierarchy at GM if you want a 2025 revamped Camaro. The current administration is stuck on EV vehicles, despite not having the infrastructure to support them.
GM has cut their own throat by the way the Camaro has been marketed or a lack there of. The Corvette needs no advertising it’s an icon and it will be there because there is no direct competition from other American companies, but the Camaro was up against Ford and Dodge especially Dodge who heavily marketed the Charger and Challenger
Getting rid of the Camero for some over priced piece of crap EV, bad plan.
